“I went there w my 4th grade class in 1996/7. Such good memories. Was my first overnight camp. Learned about different types of environments ie riparian vs desert vs scrub”
“I always come here, the staff is always so unbelievably kind and caring. Joseph and Raph always greet me with a smile and ask me how I’m doing. They both so helpful and sweet and I enjoy chatting with them <3”
“Adopted our Dolly three months ago with the help of Doggie Bonez. She is now settling in with our family and despite her early stories of a horrific life she is, as advertised, the sweetest girl full of love!!! Thank you ever so much Jacqueline!”
“??❤️??? Amazing Hard working volunteer women, if you make a donation to this rescue, please make a donation towards to their fosters, you can write a check, Zelle or Venmo, to the rescue saying that you would like that the money that are you donating to them goes towards to their fosters in a little note. Fosters pays all supplies and food for their cats and kittens out of their pockets until all goes to their Furrever ?. Mostly all Rescues who have Fosters work as is, that's the only way Rescues could survive. ? Please Adopt don't Shop! Or if you can Open your door to a Foster kitty or Doggie Thank you. GBY.”
“I came here with another organization yesterday and was very impressed. You can tell that a lot of effort and love was put into this place. There's such a large variety of native and edible plants and trees that were all over the property. One spot, you can find an apple tree and peach tree with some native sage, and another you can find an orange tree with a passionfruit vine nearby. The recently-opened Cafe had limited options during the time being, but it makes sense given that it's still winter and they cook with what they grow on site. The cauliflower soup and focaccia were very delicious and well-seasoned.The market seriously tickled my brain on how amazing everything looked. I got some soap and tomato passata. The soap smelt lovely, and the passata tasted very nice. The staff in the market are very friendly and helpful and recommended extremely delicious donuts from the laguna baking co. The prices are comparable to farmer's market prices, which tend to be on the higher end. However, after hearing how well-paid and compensated the farmers are, it's worth every penny. If you're a fan of local and sustainably-sourced food, along with ethical practices, then this is the place for you.”
