This Salon is amazing, every employee is excellent, from the front desk to assistants and colorists/stylists. So professional, polite, personable and all very talented. The salon is very comfortable and meticulous. Today I had Lyla, a very talented colorist/stylist who was excellent and is naturally gifted with truly an amazing personality. Just love her.

Owner yelling across salon insulting his stylist while working on my hair. Unacceptable behavior and Licensed Beauticians NEED to be held to the same Standards as other Licensed Professionals- There are Licenses held for Good Reason! People Trust You to Protect them. NOT to take advantage- it's Simple- CA Business and Professional Practices will have a list of unfit License Holders by end of 2023. That's a promise, no more creative excuses by Licensee's ~ it's simple.

I started seeing Trevor 4 years ago when I lived in OC. When I moved to the SF Bay Area two years ago, I went to two different highly recommended stylists in NorCal to try and find someone local, but ultimately decided to keep flying down frequently to OC to see Trevor because he is the best. Here is what you can expect if you book with him: 1. He really listens to what you want in terms of cut and color and he will do exactly what you want. If I show him a picture, I walk out of the salon with what I asked for. If I show him a picture and ask for slight modifications, he listens and delivers. 2. His highlights look incredible and natural, and he will do it without overprocessing your hair. He puts a lot of foils in, but he makes them very fine, so you won't end up with tiger stripes. The colors he uses blend and have great dimension I get compliments on my hair all the time. 3. My hair naturally has a lot of red undertones (my natural color is a very dark blonde/very light brown), so other stylists have left me with a real brassy look. Trevor knows how to work with my hair to accomplish the look of blonde highlights I want without me looking like a tiger. 4. I have fine hair, but I have A LOT of it, so layers can be very tricky. Trevor knows how to accomplish dimension and body, without making the top layers heavy and chunky and the bottom layer scraggly (I have had this experience with other stylists). I have recommended several friends to Trevor, and they have become repeat customers because he has earned their continued business by providing great services. I recommend you give him a call! For my wedding, Trevor did my cut and color, and Vanessa did my style, I included a couple photos of this for reference. I highly recommend them both if you have a big day coming up - you won't be disappointed. I took in two different inspiration photos for my trial run, and ended up with an elegant updo that was very beautiful.

Oh my gosh, Trevor nailed my haircut. When I sat down in his chair, we talked about it, what kind of cut I wanted, and what I needed. He really listened to me. And then he gave us feedback of what he thought would be good With a few tweaks, he nailed it. I got my haircut by him three days ago and so many people stopped me and ask me where I got my haircut. He is amazing. I traveled all the way from Burbank, and it's worth the travel. He's the best. Thank you Daniel Michael Salon for being so professional. Over priced and they charge you extra if you don't pay with cash. Previous owners where awesome, new owners now and I'm no longer interested in this salon.

It's really hard to find a hairstylist with hair as curly as mine but Lyla at this Salon was a hair magician. Hands down great experience! I got a hair mask for free because I went in right after Christmas. My hair looks and feels healthier than it's ever been! They also had these cool heating things that rotate around your head that I haven't seen anywhere else. It was great for diffusing my curls- don't think I can take one home

I've been getting my hair done with Lyla for a while now and she is hands down the best. She matched my color perfectly and did a beautiful job cutting my hair, my hair has been looking and feeling so healthy since then and I've been getting a ton of compliments. Do yourself a favor and get your hair done by lyla, you won't regret it.
