Cute community. Needed to take my sister to the train station here. It's an outdoor stop. Lots of nice restaurants, shops. Lots of history in this little town. Worth a visit and walk around. Great food.

I like this train station because there are many lovely restaurants and quaint shops, it’s nice while waiting for the train.

One of the better train stations off the OC Metro line. Whether you're a family with kids or a couple out exploring OC, there's plenty to do until your next scheduled trip back. This is the better train stop besides Oceanside or San Clemente is my 3rd favorite. Right now though, they're fixing the line so the last stop is San Clemente on the weekends only. Tips: -First and foremost, check your To/From trips, there aren't that many, especially the weekends, and especially going south towards Oceanside (last stop on the metro line) -Kids (under 17) ride free all weekend!! Adults $10 -We start at Irvine around 8am down to San Juan Cap. There's enough to do about 3-4 hours till your trip back. -Activities: Zoomers, park, walk around downtown San Juan, Missions, FOOD, food FOOD -App. Download the app, super helpful when purchasing tickets, checking train updates, and schedules. Cons: -Transportation system in general in S. California sucks. With that in mind, the morning training always says it's delayed but most times end up being on time. So get to your scheduled stop 5-10 minutes before hand.

We went for the Swallow parade. All went well until we were to record for our return trip. Drunk passengers pushed my wife to the ground. She hit her legs on the side of the train steps. We have been to the doctors twice for her injuries. There was no one to guide the traffic of people and there are no steps to easily enter the train car. It ruined our most perfect day.

Beautiful. Train arrives quick. 5-minute pick up and drop off. But cute part of town. Station is beautiful.

Centrally located station to historical downtown, the Mission, the Parks, and petting zoo. Beautiful photogenic architecture also.

Really difficult to understand where the long term parking is. More signage is needed in the entrance.
