This company charged my bank account $241.31 right before Christmas. The problem is, they were not supposed to - I have insurance to pay my Cpap supplies. I complained right away. I received an email response just the other day stating that they made a mistake and charged customers. I still have not received my reversal of payment. Unreal! They have gone "radio silent" since my repeated emails and phone calls requesting my money. What this company did is criminal to say the least.

Use a different DME company.I am 36 weeks pregnant. My OBGYN sent an order through my insurance for a breast pump to Apria when I was 22 weeks pregnant. Apria continuously refused to supply the breast pump for multiple inconsistent reasons despite multiple tries between myself and my doctor, and after many hours on the phone and on hold, over the course of months. I would not have wasted this much time had they not shared such confusing and inconsistent information that ultimately turned out to be false. Apria representatives first said that I was not allowed to order the breast pump without my doctor sending more records. My doctor sent more records. They then refused again asking for even more records which my doctor again sent. My doctor even called them herself to try to resolve the issue. Apria again refused to send a breast pump because I was not expected to have a premature birth. I confirmed with my doctor, my insurance, and other moms that this is NOT a reason to refuse a breast pump. They then said that I needed to wait until I was within 30 days of my delivery date. I called at that point and they said that I needed to have tried and failed a manual breast pump. I pushed back saying that this did not make sense because I had not yet delivered and there was no way for me to try and fail a manual breast pump. They then said they would not send a breast pump until AFTER I deliver the baby. I have confirmed that no other DME company does this. It seems that Apria does everything in its power to tell inconsistent and nonsensical excuses to pregnant mothers so as to look after their own pocket books. Apria should NOT advertise itself as a company that supplies breast pumps to expecting mothers. Apria refuses to support expecting mothers, they refuse to tell consistent information to expecting mothers, they make it as difficult as possible for expecting mothers to get the supplies that they need, and ultimately, they refuse to supply breast pumps as they falsely advertise.

If I could give this zero stars I would. It took them over a month to get my equipment ready, and that was after several calld on my part. The technician I was supposed to meet with was in the field and not able to meet, even after booking the appointment. A poorly trained technician was provided instead.

I want to say that Apria Healthcare services in San LeandroSaved my life. My machine broke and I was told by Kaiser 22 years ago I was "running the Boston marathon every night."My sleep apnea is bad. I use it every night. Every minute of every night. I called Apria San Leandro and explained my horrible situation and was connected to Jesse, the general manager by Reshmi. They said come on down by 4pm and we will see what we can do. Jessie was there and came out with a ResMed Cpap machine as a loaner. Mike, the technician set up the machine. I was so grateful. I had not slept for two days and was trying to buy time until my new machine was delivered. Jessie, Reshmi and Mike saved my life. Sounds dramatic but it's simply the truth. Apria Healthcare in San Leandro California, lifesavers. - Dale Liss

We are so very thankful to Apria for their help when we needed a walker for my wife. Not only were the people we spoke to courteous, they were very concerned and we received the walker in a few days.

The experience with Apria was frustrating on all fronts. Long hold times and misinformation when calling made it a chore to schedule and inquire about status. A simple request of calling before delivery was repeatedly not followed through on resulting in multiple delivery appointments to provide needed instruction and finally actually deliver the correct equipment. The multiple visits that could have been avoided posed a very negative experience for my mother, her facility and me as the primary point of contact. Information given was often contradicted by later calls. Ultimately two people stepped up and made things happen. Thank you Joseph and Anthony.

Beware of Apria, this company operates like a bad used car company. I was referred to Apria by my doctor and with out my consent or request, Apria shipped a CPAP unit to my house (I am on a Medicare and supplement so it a fully covered expense). Apria sent me about 15+ page document by an emails (a small fine print lease or sale contract) pestering me to sign the document and provide a credit card. Of course, I would NEVER sign a 15 page fine printed contract that nobody but the lawyer can understand. Then Apria person showed up at my house unannounced and push me to sign the 15 page CPAP contract. I told him in very nicely that I will never sign a document that only a lawyer can understand and asked him refrain from coming again for the contract signing. When I tried to return the CPAP back to Apria then they dissuade you in everyway. They will not pickup the CPAP nor make it easy to ship it back. It has to be returned in person at the Apria San Leandro office that is far (~30 miles/1hr by car) from my home.I have spoke to Apria staff and a manger, they are very rude to deal with, they simply said it is Apria policy (who cares about their policy?) that the customer has to bring back CPAP unit in person then they threaten to bill me for an "expensive" CPAP unit if I did not return CPAP in person. Apria is simply raising a barrier for retuning a CPAP so they can extend and delay the lease and collect more money from the Medicare. I did dropp CPAP off so Apria will stop profiting by the delay they are causing. I called and complain to my doctor (Oh, they knew about this issue, the contract and feturning the CPAP) and I told him I want to avoid Apria in the future).1. My recomendation, avoid Apria.2. Read Yelp review and make your own choice. 3. NEVER sign a cotract you can not read and understand, Apria is grabing for your money and then lock you in. 4. When you return the equipment make sure to take a photo or video for the record, Don't trust Apria to do the right thing.

I wanted to change suppliers and asked my doctor. There was a little confusion about my insurance but once they figured it out, they overnighted my supplies to say sorry for the delay. The gal was really sympathetic.

This is the worst experience I've had Everyone I talked to talks to you as your a child. Denae who claims to be the boss. Called me yesterday at 430 with a tracking number 9/18. Claiming my machine will be here today 9/19. We'll at 458 I call and I get to talk to Ramona I tell her my situation and she tells my machine is stuck in Stockton now I'm upset I ask her why would someone from your company call and promise the machine would be here. Now I have 26 years in sales. Right now we have a car shortage so customers are buying cars before they arrive to the dealership now I do not and will not call a client there car has arrived until it's on the lot. Romona respond was there's only so much we can do. Your company called me. To tell me She chuckled and said I'm sorry there's nothing I can do. Now I get upset because your employee chuckles, understand I'm a patient not a client I have severe sleep apnea. I have to pay for this machine out of pocket 1009 and your going to chuckle at me. Then say if there's anything I can help you with rudely said otherwise she just hung up. Now I am asking for an written apology from everyone I have been involved with this company by your yelp don't care for the patient at all. You have my information Robert morales

Two stars for hope. The device showed up within 2 days (that’s good) still no sign of the face mask. No shipping info and no communication of when (if?) it will ship. Another thing to chase down. I’ll move to one star if I have to chase the thing down to get it shipped.everything finally arrived. They ship the mask separate and there was a problem they didn’t let me know. But, the device works awesome. Upping to five stars. I am sleeping better and deeper (at least it feels like it).

Hi. Our experience with this company was terrible. I had serious neck surgery and was about to be sent home but couldn't do so until the hospital bed arrived at my house. It was supposed to be there on Saturday ... this didn't happen. Then we were told that it would arrive between 11-430 on Sunday. That didn't happen. The next window we were given was before 8:15. That didn't happen. Then the order was cancelled by, only to have them call us at 930 pm and say it will be delivered by midnight that night. My son sat by the window like a dog until 1045 when he was told that the order would be cancelled again and he could go to bed. The next morning he called at 6 am and was told that the bed would arrive between 1:15 - 3:45. He left our home to run errands and was called at 12:15 by Apria saying "where are you?? We are here to deliver!" Luckily he wasn't too far away and raced back to receive the order otherwise I may have been stuck in the hospital a whole other day. The one thing I will say is that the delivery guys were nice and they set up fairly quickly. Everyone else dropped the ball over and over. Kaiser should stop using these people if this is a normal occurrence. Terribly unprofessional and stressful for our family.

The first night I used my CPAP I noticed the difference right away. It was the best sleep I had in a long time. I woke up feeling energized through the white day. I recommend it to everyone

How are they allowed to run this business in this way? when they keep delaying the delivery of the medical devices that put your life in danger?I called multiple times and get the magic word "processing" like they are making the device from raw material.. You guys received the request and get the authorization from my doctor AND insurance NOW I need the medical device not a month later!Absolutely horrible support line!
