“Good place to shop for building supplies. Was looking for 12 in square ceiling tiles for my kitchen. No place local had them in stock but AMA. Very customer service oriented.”

“I had a defective lock for my custom double door. The maker was Glasscraft of Houston. It functioned in a clumsy fashion since new in 2015. Six years later, I could no longer open it from the inside. The handle turns without opening the door.A local handyman tried to fix it. The fix lasted for a week. He advised I get a replacement for the defective part. He would then reinstall it.I tried to order the replacement from Glasscraft via email. After days of no response, I called them. They ignore residential customers. They only deal with commercial customers. In fact, I had to purchase the door through one of their customers. One was local to me: Builders First Source.I described my problem to Builders First Source via email. I was hoping they could help me. Later, they called me back to say they tried to get help from Glasscraft, but failed.I described my problem to Rockwell via email. Without delay, they shipped the replacement part by FedEx for free. Rockwell said it was under warranty. The part arrived within days. The local handyman installed it. He discovered the lock no longer grips the handle. Over the years, we had to manipulate the handle to open the door. The handle had shaved the hole where it meets the lock. The hole became large and the wrong shape. The handyman said we need to replace the mechanism where the hole is.I emailed Rockwell for the second time. This time, they sent the entire multi point lock and a new spindle. It arrived earlier than expected. This time, I hired a locksmith specialist in residential doors. He installed the new lock and fixed the handle in expert fashion.I cannot praise Rockwell’s customer service enough. They stand by their product and brand. I would recommend them to anyone.”
