Thank you to Vaibhav for your help with my new credit card application!This chase bank has been my go-to for years. Mostly for convenience since it's so close to home and I can stop by quickly during a Safeway run. I typically just use the ATMs outside but sometimes I have also used their ATM inside when I've needed to withdraw/deposit a large amount.Most recently I wanted to apply for a new credit card and Vaibhav was so helpful. He explained the pros and cons of each option and made sure to answer all my questions thoroughly (and I had a lot about how it would affect my credit, which would be better in the long run, etc). He even was flexible when I needed to schedule a last minute appointment the next day. Grateful for the accommodation!

This bank is conveniently located near where I live. The employees have been helpful with any questions we my have.

Worse chase bank ever! I'm a new chase member and I tried cashing 2 of my checks and for some reason the teller who works there in the mornings, she keeps telling me that something is wrong with my checks when nothing is wrong. I work nights and tired of dealing with this. After she told me this in two different occasions I went to Patelco and they cashed my checks with no problems I would give this place a zero if I could.

My family wants to open a checking account and saving. The manager was not helpful and turned us go, said that they don't have in enough time. It was only 2:45pm.

Worst bank for sure. Chase needs to stop harassing Elon Musk and Tesla. I wish I can give 0 star review instead of 1 star.

I like this Chase location because it's a small location but it offers most banking services. I like that during evening hours when the bank is closed the ATM machines are located inside where you need an ATM card to swiped to get in. It makes it a little bit safer and prevents vandalism and against rainy days. I came in yesterday to get my daughter's birth certificate application notarized because the county clerk recorders office is closed due to the pandemic. They were closed on Tuesday and the manager called me to tell me they would be open the next day. Sure enough they took me in and I didn't have an appointment. Stacey the manager was delightful to work with. She was also training her team on how to notarize since they didn't do it often. She was teaching her by the book which is the right way to train. Best part was it was completely free. Save d me money from having to go to the UPS store which was also in the same shopping center.

On Saturday, 7/19/20, at 1:30 pm, I went inside this branch to get some coin changes. I asked for 3 rolls of quarter and 2 rolls of dime. She seemed very annoying and said could only give me one roll of each. What kind of crappy bank doesn't have enough change. I owned a business in Alameda so I usually go to Alameda branch but I happened to stop by here while I was running some errands. So I gave her $20 (for one roll of quarter and one rolls of dime, total $15) expecting a five dollar change back but she kept asking for more money. Not only not she was rude but can't even count. Of course, she did not say anything like thank you or have a good day not a single word when I was leaving. She should learn some more customer service skills

I went to the bank today a little after 1:45 and the woman standing by the door monitoring the line was very rude! I went directly to her and her little table to ask her a question and she didn't even let me finish saying hello before she cut me off. I understand there are rules and protocols being put into place and I appreciate that. However that shouldn't mean customer service standards should suffer.

Add photos ? They did not want me to take any photos inside the bank. However, the staff are very nice and help me with charges on my checking account that are fraudulent. ?

I work at the Greatclips Salon right across the parking lot and usually go to this chase to cash my check the first few times I went I had no problems there was one time they couldn't verify the check so they turned me away so I went to the Chase in Oakland and they cashed it right away today the day after thanksgiving I decided to try again now they tell me that I can't cash it because of the signature once again I go to another chase in Castro Valley and HELP ME SOOO MUCH and cashed it after they called and verified the check SO SIMPLE AND EASY

We arrived at 5:25pm to open a new account. No one was at the lobby except one gentleman waiting on the couch. One bank personnel in the booth helping a customer. I was looking for a sign up sheet when the teller asked us to sit down. A few minutes later three employees came out. The manager asked who needs help, and I pointed to the person that was ahead of us. After asking the gentleman on what he needed, the manager turned to us. I said we would like to open a student account. She mentioned that the personnel in the booth is helping a customer open a new account, and told us that we need an appointment to open a new account. She gestured us to go over her desk to set up an appointment. She then told us that the next appointment is at 10am the next day. I said the students will be in class, and asked if there is any open slot around the time we came in. She said the last appointment would be 5:15pm. I said I don't think I can make it because class ends at 5pm, so I asked if all Chase banks closes at 6pm. She responded by saying that it is already 5:34pm and doubt if I can drive over and take a chance to be accommodated. I made a comment that it seems that Chase doesn't like to have our business so I gestured to my students that we should now leave. She said that is not true and mentioned that they are open Saturday and whether I would like to set an appointment then. I told her this branch has two stars on Yelp and now I know why!

I am appalled at the service I received here by Tram Cao. I've been in many times and have noticed the quality of service has decreased significantly over the last year. I visited this branch to inquire about a new checking. I had received an offer and wanted to take advantage. Tram was very rude in her response. She was very quick to tell me no. She told me the information I received from another branch was wrong and had no empathy in declining my request. I was hoping she could have given me options or told me about other promotions. As a customer, I wanted to be heard. Tram did not do this and made me feel that she did not value my business. It was ok that I was misinformed but the aggressive nature of the banker's response was not. Maybe she is new to the company and still needs to learn these skills. I hope this feedback will help in the coaching of this employee and the staff. As I read these reviews, I know am not the only client who had felt the lack of customer service.
