I frequent Washington Square San Leandro CA for all my medical needs.Pharmacy employees matter. They are very helpful and professional. Besides, from time to time I received promotions deal as well as rebate from CVS.So I gave them a 5 stars they deserved.

Getting vaccinated was so quick and easy. Even if you missed your appointment. They were all very friendly. I didn't even wait that long.

This CVS is extremely low rated for a reason- it's terrible. I don't know if they're understaffed or what, but it took over an hour and a half from the time of my vaccine appointment (and I even checked in 15 min early!)

Staff is alway great , Great customer service BUT they are ALWAYS short staffed, and the parking is a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE! Other that those issues this place isn't bad if you are not short on time.

I frequently go to the CVS because my mom lives close by. I never had an issue until Monday. Looks like a new Chinese girl was working in the front and kept staring at me and my Mother, who are black she following us down every aisle I felt unsafe I was not able to shop! I felt targeted and racially profiled by this individual. So I left the store. I went back on Tuesday and it was the same lady doing the same thing but she was with the guy looked like they were either related or married and he was just walking around the Store being a fake security guard He also kept looking at me. I felt super uncomfortable, and again racially profiled.again. CVS management please do better! That is not ok. I will be contacting corporate offices and trying to get a hold of the store manager.

I was in CVS tonight 7/31 around 7 pm. The cashier was leaning on the table, talking to a security guy. Seems like she was so busy flirting and customers like us were ignored at the cashier's line. Everyone was confused because we were 100% ignored, she didn't even bother looking at the line. We thought she was not working but there was no other cashier available. I finally said " Are you available? " Still ignored. I said " Hello? " She finally decided to work but acted like we were interrupting her flirting session. She is about early 20 yo who has no desire to work.

Closed at 857...BEFORE the time their sign says they close at 9 (pls see Screen shots for proof) Just needed to use the atm (which is right inside the door). Dude with a "beard" and glasses literally still standing st the register looked at me and laughed when i asked if i could just use the atm...its probably 858 by now. Pacific Islander looking dude also just standing by. Why are you even at the register if you're "closed"? At least look like you're actually leaving... As I'm writing this they are already out, at 901...waiting for their rides? I guess they were in a hurry.. Also if you work here(yelp user Vanessa with the profile pic of her tattooed arm) dont make it obvious by commenting. Take the L or fix your business hours since that is LITERALLY what the one star is for-not being open for advertised full time. Also to Yelp user J S and his "gO tO a BaNk" comment. wow thats crazy let me just open up a whole ass bank for the bank-less atm I needed to use that is generally usually located at cvs and considering the time crunch i was on and my location, this was the closest one. It's clear you don't work in retail/customer service and have probably had the privilege of being able to be certain places "on time" depending on your schedule. Good for you *claps* also if you were trying to say "you are" the correct spelling is YOU'RE... please be able to spell like an adult if you want to call people names. Again, if you work here or clearly know them stop making it obvious. This is the only review that people have been so butt-hurt about. So either you live an easy life, you work here. And if you u work here they must be paying you well enough that you feel like you need to come on here and stand up to a review.

You can't even shop here! They made it so difficult by getting rid of all the shopping carts and even the small shopping baskets. The reason? "Because people steal them." They wouldn't steal them if staff went out into the parking lot and brought them back into the store more often. There are several able-bodied staff members leaning on counters and chit chatting. They have deals to get lower prices if you buy six of certain items. You can't even carry six. I bet their sales are way down. There's another CVS nearby, so I won't be back.

Losing stars I was in this CVS just now, 0810 on 2/23/23, and buying sundry hygiene products. A bearded young man went out of his way to give me 25% off of blades because the special had only one pack left= 5 stars ! When checking out I said I wanted to use my extra coupon and the b*** cashier tossed the long receipt back saying "You have to tear it out!" (Really ? YOU can't scan the right one ? OK) As I tore the correct part of a long receipt out I clipped the corner of the intended barcode and she said "You tore the barcode !" I asked if she had tape- "NO tape- huff/puff" (B**** you started the problem by trying to make me carry your water !)After all that, after she scanned it and I paid she put the rest of that long receipt in my bag. I looked in her eyes and said "Oh, thanks for the trash " she said "Your other coupons " which would sound reasonable were it not for her crap attitude prior. It's a 1 star attitude lady, get corrected

Crappy service. States online they close at 10pm and we arrived at 8:25 to employees with attitudes and announcing over the speakers to make it to the front with our selections because they close in 30 minutes (calm down, this isn't Walmart, people go in to get a few items 20 minutes max - no one is grocery shopping here.) Anyways, we grab our 3 items and head to the front where there's no line and one register open. She was helping someone and redirected us to cashier 2 and told the girl sitting on top of register 3 blabbing away to the security guard to ring us up. Kid you not, she stared right at us rolled her eyes and sighed super loudly. When she said hello to us at the register i said hello back and that we didn't want to be there as much as she didn't. I'm fine with a cashier ringing me up with no conversation and just shrugging me off if their having a bad day but the demeanor she had before even approaching the register when asked to help us was uncalled for. She didn't even try to hide it then tried coming to the register as if we hadn't just seen her reaction. Management, hire better. Like I said, everyone has there bad days and that's understandable but that was unacceptable. Get a different job if you don't want to deal with people.
