My boyfriend and I love to support small business, but we were very disappointed and we both, do not recommend this florist shop. My boyfriend had placed an order for an arrangement for my birthday in December and when we received it, it was beautiful, BUT it was already starting to wilt the first day, so you can imagine how quickly the flowers died. Please keep in mind that these flowers he purchased were about $140, and I did not want to give this business $140 for flowers that were already dying. I had originally reached out to the shop by their phone number to be compensated for this. The woman I was talking to said they guaranteed the flowers to be 72 hours, which was no where stated anywhere on their website. How are customers suppose to know if the flowers were to be guaranteed 72 hours if it's not stated anywhere? Even then, my entire floral arrangement died much sooner than 72 hours. We were told that we would be compensated with store credit or another arrangement, we chose to have my arrangement replaced. After deciding that, we were told that we would get the new arrangement that following Friday/Saturday, and we were asked to leave the original vase outside the house for them to pick up. As Friday rolled around, I never got a text back when I asked what time were they planning to arrive. As Saturday rolled around, all of my texts were ignored, so I had to ask my boyfriend to text and call their number to ask when they plan to drop off the new arrangement. As Sunday came around, we never got our new flowers and all of ours texts/calls were ignored. It was extremely upsetting that all of our texts and calls were ignored. What's the point in telling us that you will replaced our arrangement if you were really never planning to? This shop lacks proper communication with their customers. We will not be returning, as this situation was extremely frustrating and upsetting.

Our family received the flowers and were very happy with the arrangement. Thank you very much. Just an FYI- They are not available for Sunday delivery. No time is given for when your delivery will arrive No delivery confirmation We ordered under sympathy plant- the name was "Flourishing Beauty Bouquet" Arrangement- $79.99 Wire fee- $4 Delivery fee- $20 Taxes- $10.63 Total-119.62

Placed an order a week in advance with the speed delivery before 2pm. The first issue was it being 2:30pm and no delivery was made. The support line then told me they will refund the delivery fee and make sure it was delivered by the end of day. I then received a email stating that they “attempted” to make the delivery but the driver could not complete. I ordered them to a business with the easiest instructions. I then called 3 hours later to the delivery being pushed back with 0 communication on their end. They are now saying the order is pushed back a day which completely ruins the occasion and special plan. I’m furious and it would be understandable if the order was placed last minute but you had a week to get things together. Such a let down and I will NEVER DO BUSINESS OR EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO DO BUSINESS WITH AVASFLOWERS. Poor communication and they make promises they cannot keep. Thanks for ruining my special plans.

Daughter's birthday was on a Tuesday and I was placing the order on Monday. East Bay Flowers website says they will fill same day orders, so I felt comfortable that an order placed relatively early the day before wouldn't be a problem.I tried calling and no one answered, so I proceeded to order online from the website. I made my online order, put in my credit card information and received an email confirmation sometime a little later. There was a reference in the order payment process that I was concerned about (telling me to put my CVV in a specific box that I couldn't find even though there was another area that collected it), so I thought I would follow up by phone to make sure things were ok. There was no answer and the voicemail was full. The outgoing message indicated that I could text the number if it was an emergency. It wasn't, so I didn't. I thought East Bay Flowers would call me if there was an issue with my order.I heard from my daughter a few times during the day on Tuesday. She said nothing about getting flowers from us, so I texted my son-in-law. He confirmed that the flowers had not yet arrived. I tried calling East Bay Flowers and the same thing happened as the day before: no answer, full voicemail. Before I went to bed on Tuesday night, I asked my daughter if an arrangement had ever arrived, and she said no. By this time it was past 8 pm CA time. I texted and sent an email using the email address link on their website. Shortly thereafter, I received a message from my own email provider saying my message was not deliverable. I found a different email address on East Bay Flowers Facebook page, so I tried that one.On Wednesday, I called East Bay Flowers about 40 minutes after their posted opening time. I reached an employee who did not seem concerned or even terribly surprised that my order was not fufilled. She offered to send a delivery today, suggesting that the shop would "upgrade" my order and add "extras" if I wanted. Since I'd already ordered the largest of three sizes of the online arrangement I chose and ordered a balloon, I'm not really sure what she was offering. Also by this point I was not willing to give this business $126 for flowers delivered the day after my daughter's birthday, so I asked for a refund. The unperturbed employee told me that my credit card had not been charged. She told me that their normal process is to call people who place online orders to confirm and asked me if anyone called me. I said no and I pointed out that this step of their process is not mentioned anywhere on their website that I could see, nor was it mentioned in the email confirmation I received. She rather jauntily agreed that it is not.I asked for some kind of written evidence that my order had been cancelled and that my card would not be charged and she replied. "You can trust me." I explained that it was nothing personal against her, but that I did not feel comfortable trusting East Bay Flowers because I couldn't trust them to deliver flowers, which appears to be a main part of their business. I requested to be contacted by an owner about this. I indicated that I would follow up our conversation with an email of my own and the employee confirmed that the icloud email address listed on East Bay Flowers Facebook account is the right one to use. The employee cheerfully advised me that I can also keep an eye on my credit card account to make sure East Bay Flowers does not put my charge through.I have now followed up by email and by text (I tried calling again and no one answered and the voicemail box is full) and await a reply. I think I will be waiting a long time. One star chosen under duress per Google review rules. I do not recommend East Bay Flowers.

My daughter is working as a travel nurse in a San Leandro hospital. Since my husband and I couldn't be with her on her 30th birthday, I thought it would be nice to have flowers delivered to her by a local florist. I checked for one close to where she is staying and was pleased to try ordering directly from a shop, instead of through a 1-800 number. Daughter's birthday was on a Tuesday and I was placing the order on Monday. It was fairly early in the day for CA, since it was early afternoon in NJ. East Bay Flowers website says they will fill same day orders, so I felt comfortable that an order placed relatively early the day before wouldn't be a problem. Called in and placed order at just before 1 and flowers were delivered by 330. But the most important thing is the flowers. I spent about the same amount for Mother's Day flowers but there is no comparison. Thank you so very much. The picture shows the size of vases for the same price. Ask for Lorena.

East Bay Flowers is unassuming. I walked in thinking the place is bare, and for the large space, there isn’t many things in the shop. There was one bouquet of flowers ready for sale and seemingly a couple of buckets of flowers available. I gave it a try nonetheless and the florist asked me in a matter of fact manner for the color that I wanted and how much I wanted to spend. At first I thought it was a peculiar approach- but I appreciated the directness. I asked for a compact and full arrangement. I selected my own bowl and colors and shared my budget. I stepped out of the store for less than 10 mins and came back to a gorgeous ensemble. It was more beautiful than I expected. I did not think I was going to get to gift an exceptional bouquet at the price point of my choosing and get it fast. I admit I judged the service poorly by the look of the shop. But the service was better than I can ask for. Thank you for getting to the point and allowing me to walk out with a gorgeous piece.

Best flower shop in the East Bay. Lorena is super attentive (and hilarious) and her team put together a beautiful rose bouquet that was better than I had originally imagined. Very fair pricing. Highly recommend!

Idk what's wrong with the owner but she's a weird lady. They went up in prices which is fine but the unprofessional environment every order I placed in the past wasn't fun. I recently tried to place a $300 order I was hung up on twice and the third time she blocked my number... literally weird
