My car dealer's service department contracted with this Hertz Local Edition for a rental car while my car was being serviced. When I arrive at Hertz, I was the only customer present. The representative at the desk told me to wait as he took phone calls after phone call. I had to wait half an hour just for the representative to take a break from his phone calls and actually service the live customer. This business has an utter lack of regard for its customers. I'm a Hertz President's Circle member, and don't think I've ever had worse service from Hertz.

What happen to customer service being efficient. You will wait up to a hour for a car here. Ive never experienced picking up a car take 40- to 1 hour. This place sucks. Hire more ppl. You have 2 people doing the job of 6 !!!

I went to update my Debit card number for Uber Vehicle rental car but by bad luck I met manager David Navarrete. He said the Vehicle I am renting from last 2 months for Uber is too nice to drive for Uber and he got email from Hertz to take it back. I told him you lying because i just talked to Hertz, I asked him to show me the email, but he didn't have it. He took the car back , maybe for his relative, showing me his manager power and took the car back by cheating and lying. Be careful with this manager David, if you see him your day will be bad. I have No Work today because of him. Dear Hertz he's the worse person to deal with over ther , I was so happy with other staff members , but met him and he started showing manager power. He took the car back by tricked and told me take out the stuff, So bad dealing . He said don't care even if Hertz allowed from last 2 months, it was there mistake.

The young guys at the desk are very sweet, and that's the only good thing I can say.
The two times I've been there, I left at least 2 hours after my reserved time. The first time they gave me an electric car with 19% battery so I couldn't go more than 40 mi before taking an hour to charge it. The second time, the car was so disgusting that I just drove it straight to another Hertz location, where they also were appalled at the interior and apologave me a replacement, even though that wasn't their policy.
I gather they do a lot of long-term rentals here. The car I got that second time had clearly been so dirty when they got it, because there was still gunk caked in all of the cracks they didn't reach. It smelled horrible and the steering wheel was sticky.
David, not one of the sweet young guys, is simply rude.

This is the absolute worst branch ever, the first time I came here they didn't have the car I reserved, so I got stuck with a small car where Uber customers were literally sitting on my back, not to mention the charger port didn't work, the second time which is now I've been stuck here for 2 1/2 hours and there telling me once again they don't have the car I reserved after specifically made an appointment for the car I reserved, he's telling me to come back tomorrow after I just told you I have to return to work in Livermore, like this is not right, if you don't have the cars here stop putting them on line like you do and wasting everyone's time. I'm so Pissed ?

Just feels like a bunch of scammers wishing upon your downfall. I was given a rental for 10 days by the dealer while they fix my car. Right out the gate the dealer covers my rental but hertz wanted to me to pay $60 a day for insurance but conveniently didn't mention to check with your insurance provider to see if they cover rentals thankfully I did. Then my return day is on Sunday, but they're not open on weekends so I have to return my rental 2 days early or get charged $45 plus tax for holding it an extra day when they're forcing me to bring it back early.

The men who work here seem nice but the wait time is atrocious. I’ve never had to wait so long to pick up or drop off a car. To make matters worse I had somewhere to be each time I walked in. There is absolutely no sense of urgency which is frustrating particularly if you’re traveling. The last thing I want to do is spend an hour dealing with a car rental. Please staff more people.

Bad treatment by the manager
For the first time, I was given a car without oil at all
For the second time, he gave me a Kia car, and the data was entered incorrectly with the Uber service
Same car, different license plate. Coincidentally, it was a Thursday and I only knew on Friday. I had to wait four days until the problem was corrected.
After a while, the car broke down on Friday
It was towed on Saturday and I was given a bad car compared to what was towed from me
After I was given the new car, the service was not activated for me either for five days
Had a bad experience with this branch.i have received bad reviews because of these problems and i have been unemployed for five days.finally i dont recommend dealing with this branch

It took almost 2 hours to get into my rental, I almost had a nap in the lobby. They said they would do a pre authorization charge to my card in the amount of ~550, but it ended up being 1150, reducing my bank account's available funds to just ~100 for the next 24 hours (it eventually cleared, but it was stressful not having any emergency funds as I headed up the pass)
