I traded in my XC80 T6 and rented a brand new 2024 XC90 T8 at McKevitt. I just took T6 for repairing and didn't plan to rent one . Sam from the sales team was really nice, friendly and patient. He answered all my questions and did a test drive then provided options which started my new journey on T8. I was really hesitated and having many concerns but Sam helped to answer and solve them one by one. The GM David also helped me on a couple of requests when Sam is not in the office. Finance Idris and Omid patiently answered all my questions with suggestions related to service / maintenance contracts which made the great experience comprehensively.Almost forgot to mention Perla from Service team, she was professional and responsible. Helped me in repairing and logistics. Also kept me updates so we can solve all problems smoothly. Thanks team !!

For the second time I took my 2018 Volvo S90 and I was really disappointed. First the service associate attempted to sell me additional items when I was only there for routine maintenance. He said that was going wash my car. However the inside was actually left with additional debris that was not in there when I left it . Then the service person attempted to charge 562.43 for brake pads for the front and another 562.43 for the back. When I researched the parts online the entire set is only 57.99. Really that is ridiculous I understand a mark-up that is completely unnecessary.

We brought our Volvo V70 for routine service and to get a new cover for the rear windshield wiper. When we picked up the car, the rear windshield wiper washer was squirting towards the ground rather than the rear window. We told them about this and they scheduled another appointment to fix this. At the next appointment, they managed to completely break the windshield wiper, so that it no longer worked at all. No squirting, no movement of the wiper. They refused to accept responsibility for breaking the windshield wiper, but offered to repair it for about $600. Talk about a self-licking ice cream cone.

Eleonor was an exceptional person to work with at Mckevitt. She walked me through the car each step (my first true hybrid). I've done five test drives on different vehicles, including Volvos, and she's the only person who has walked me through that car with that kind of detail. She answered it all my questions. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. Usually the worst part of buying cars for me is the sales reps. This was by far an exception to that rule. Thanks, Eleonor!

Update: General Manager apologized to me, said he’s happy to offer a loaner car in the future, and gave me his number. He mentioned he’s been here 6 months and trying to address the complaints, I appreciate it. Car finished about 1 hour, not the 3 I was told initially.They are saying it’s a standard 3 hour wait for a scheduled oil change. Reading through the reviews, sounds like this has been the practice for years. No loaner option. There goes half my day.

I would like to thank Sam in sales and (new) sales manager Kenny for their outstanding service. They really know how to treat customers right, even when purchasing a used Volvo. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and for that I am truly appreciative. Being a lifelong Volvo customer, I was used to this great service at Marin Volvo. Now I’m happy to say that I’ve found the same if not better service on this side of the Bay! Thanks Sam and Kenny! This dealership is top notch! We bought our first Volvo here (XC60) in 2019 from Jeff (great experience). Fast forward to 2023 and in the market for a second car, we were looking at every other non-Volvo option out there to diversify. However, after a regular service appointment on our XC60 we were reminded of what exceptional, customer-focused service this dealership provides. We were so blown away we threw out the other car options and ended up buying a 2nd Volvo from Jeff again (this time an XC40 Recharge)!Not only did they beat out all the other dealerships prices, they always find ways to go above and beyond, and are available for help or questions anytime we have them. Working with Jeff, Ken, Perla and team here feels like working with a trusted old family friend who's got your back. We'll definitely be back!

I regret bringing my car here for any service. This is my second time, and its no different. Both times, I've made the effort to take their very first appointment in the morning, at 7 - 730. I brought it in for AC diagnostic and to fix, and for replacing the rear windshield wiper. By the end of the first day, they called and said they need to keep it overnight. Im pretty upset that its taken all day just to say they wont have it fixed or ready today or even have a diagnostic results. I asked why did it take all day to NOT complete 'diagnostic' AC issue? She couldnt really answer my question. I asked when would it be ready - tomorrow. When tomorrow? around this time (3/4pmish). Its irritating when you werent anticipating leaving your only mode of transportation over night somewhere, w/out any heads up.So its the 2nd day and its almost 5pm, no follow up again. I called and they told me they'd call me back in 10 mins with the update on my car. Its 6pm now and of course they are closed for the day. You cant even leave a vm, the box is full. So they dont care what your issue is. So now my car has been in the shop for 2 days without any courtesy of notice or status, or even an estimate of the costs. I'm not sure why they bother taking appointments because it seems it doesnt matter what time of day you bring your car in, they just let it sit! So now my husband has to take another day off work, so we can take our kid to school and back or to carry on with anywhere we need to go. there is no courtesy of notice at this Service center. They dont seem organized for intake or follow up. Even for diagnostic procedure, they cant seem to complete or have results so that you know what you'll be spending or what the damages are.Just bring your car to a mom/ pop shop and take your chances there. I've learned my lesson. Not doing this for a 3rd time....

I recently visited this dealer again for warranty repairs and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the level of customer service I received. Marco is very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to my needs. It was a stark contrast to my previous experience at the same dealership where I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed.During my previous visit, the staff seemed disinterested in my needs and lacked the necessary knowledge to answer my questions, also not responsive at all. I left the dealership feeling frustrated and disappointed with the service I received. However, my recent experience was completely different. Marco went above and beyond to ensure that all my questions were answered and issues resolved, I was completely satisfied with the service.I was particularly impressed with the level of communication from Marco. He kept me informed throughout the entire process and made sure that I was aware of any updates or changes. This level of communication is something that was sorely lacking during my previous visit, so it was a refreshing change.Overall, I am very happy with the service I received during my recent visit. It's clear that they have taken steps to improve their customer service, and it's paying off. One star was taken off because the process to get my car repaired under the extended warranty was still not as smooth as it could be but Marco def stepped up to turn it around this time.

I had a great experience with purchasing my XC90 there, the sales persons there were easy to work with, special thanks to Jeff Cox who is thoughtful and cares for his customers. Haven't been to the service department yet, but I hope it will live up to the quality of service as well.
