I bought a couple of rock solid wooden bunk beds that Tom hooked me up with for less than $500.00. The mattresses were separately sold for $150.00 each and I think was that memory foam and it seemed very solid. Costco prices for similar looking bunk beds were twice the price and more - and same with other outfits. Delivery and set up price was outstanding and accommodating. The two fellows that did this were polite, professional, and my experience with all of this was outstanding. The little things count as well, like Tom recognizing my voice immediately when I called a couple days after visiting the show room. Next time I need furniture I'm going to check in here as part of my comparison shopping. I couldn't be more pleased.

We’re refurnishing our condo and looking for a solid wood queen bedroom set with dovetail joint drawers and ball bearing casters. After researching numerous furniture catalogs and visiting several stores we decided on the Modus Brighton Collection constructed with Tropical Mahogany solids and Cherry Veneers. The drawers have English dovetail joints both front and back, for rigidity and durability, and full extension ball bearing glides.After seeing a partial Modus bedroom set display at Mancini’s in Alameda, I received a sales quote for $3,700 including tax, delivery and disposal of our current set, which was considerably less than several online vendors and retail stores.For price comparison, I stopped by New Homeworld Furniture Outlet in San Leandro, met with the store owner, Tom and told him my budget. Although this particular bedroom set was not on his showroom floor, he could order it from the Modus main office in Southern California and estimated delivery in two-weeks. Tom agreed to a lower price of $3,500 for the complete set, including removal of my current bedroom set, delivery, and set-up.A week after my purchase, his brother, Phong contacted me and said the furniture was already received at his store and can be delivered to our place.The next week our furniture was delivered. Phong and his crew took great care to assemble and set-up the storage bed platform and headboard, two nightstands, the 9-drawer dresser with mirror, and 7-drawer chest, all delivered and assembled without a scratch. They also removed my older set and disposed of shipping materials.We’re very pleased with both the look and quality of the Modus Brighton Collection we purchased, (stock picture below), the hassle-free purchase experience with Tom, and the great delivery and customer service we received from Phong and his crew with New Homeworld Furniture Outlet, and highly recommend their services.

While showing Tom the furniture pieces I wanted to purchase I asked Tom not to sell me the sampled furnisher there on the (show room floor). Tom assured me he had more of these pieces in his inventory and would not sell me the ones there on the floor but returning a couple days after my furniture was delivered I noticed all the furniture pieces i had chosen from were taken from the (show room floor) in which Tom told me he wouldn't. After receiving the furniture I noticed I had been sold broken sampled furniture

I purchased my bed in 2021. This year I encountered physical impairments and had to request a reasonable accommodation for a downstairs unit for a safety precaution. I explained my situation to them. Asked how much they would charge and even had my receipt to show proof of purchase. I was never asked for my receipt. It was an immediate NO and that they aren't licensed for that. However, they were licensed to deliver and assemble my bed at time of purchase. Are they saying they are doing illegal assembly? What license is this? When I asked to speak with the manager the gentleman (less than) pointed me in his direction. But immediately started speaking to him in their language. As many of us know when you seek help from friends and family your furniture gets compromised as they are not a professional and don't have the same level of respect for your property. I wanted my bed to be handled and reassembled by the professionals who did it the first time. I don't see that being an irrational or unattainable request. The fact this store was unwilling to accommodate a customer was disturbing. They do not have to worry about getting any more money from me. They've displayed they could care less about the customer or providing exceptional service as a upstanding business. It's about collecting the almighty dollar. Caveat Emptor!! Such a disappointment.

This store is located in between two other furniture stores. This store has the best prices between the two. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. For an extra fee they will haul your old furniture when they deliver your new items. My items were delivered in perfect condition

John and other associate were attentive greeted us as soon as we walked in. John asked what we’re looking for and gave a few options for a simple dinning room table.A few hundred dollars cheaper than living spaces. Easy assembly and In stock. John helped me load the set to my truck.

Tom is the Best!!!I had a horrible experience before meeting Tom; He understood my situation and worked diligently to get my Bedroom delivered and reinforced!I looked up and there he was assisting with putting things together. Very hands on; I respect that! ?

After doing a lot of research on buying a new adjustable bed frame and new memory foam mattress. My wife and I stop bye New Home World Furniture and Tom help us find the right bed and the price was at least 50% less than the brand names with the same quality! Plus they delivered and setup and hauled old furniture away!I highly recommend Tom! ?Also, This is our 2nd time buying furniture from Tom!

I had a good experience buying my loveseat from here. I was looking for a specific model to match my sofa and found it on the website. I placed the order by phone. Tom was nice and courteous. The loveseat arrived within the estimated time. The delivery team was very professional. Overall good customer service.
