I met Jessica Heringer, super nice lady. She quickly processed the paper works and received my vehicle for service with a nice and welcoming attitude. When my vehicle was done, I got a text message from Jessica. The whole process of retrieving my vehicle was flawless, the guy who delivered my vehicle was polite and nice. Super happy with the service overall.

Head gasket job on an accord hybrid.Their quote was less than a few other Bay Area dealerships I contacted, and around what independent shops were quoting me.Jesus was cool, kept me updated, and got the job done quick.I’m disappointed that the head gasket went out at 90k miles, that’s not really acceptable, but that’s not their fault. If you’re thinking about buying an accord, think twice about it- they aren’t as reliable as they used to be. If you already have one, and it needs to be fixed, I’d suggest San Leandro Honda.

I am recovering from recent surgery and called to see if I could bring my Honda in for needed new tires, alignment, etc. and I wanted to wait for it. I was told to come and they would do it now. I got there and the estimate job time was 2 hours although the guy said it would probably be a little less. 1 hour and 45 minutes later he came over and said it would be a little longer. IT TOOK 3 HOURS! I was exhausted. Then unlike other times I have had service there, they didn’t even drive it to the waiting room door area. It was parked past the entrance to the service area. TERRIBLE SERVICE, especially under the circumstances.

Just had an amazing experience at San Leandro Honda with Jorge as my salesperson. Took the car for three test drives to ensure I felt comfortable and secure. His incredible patience and kindness stood out. He answered all my questions. Highly recommend this place, especially if you’re looking for great service. Ask for Jorge—you won’t be disappointed!

It was a good experience as I have had for the past 5 years. No one tried to oversell anything - told me what may be needed and left the decision on me whether to move forward with the recommendations - did not pressure one way or another. Told me that the car will be ready by a certain time and it was ready on time. All in all - good experience and I will continue to go there for servicing unless something changes in the way they are providing services.

Honda, via Kevin Wong and Angelica, once again took care of me and my car! I can’t say enough about the customer service here. Every person seems to be looking out for the customers. As a solo parent I need my car to be safe and I don’t have a second one to utilize, so Kevin made sure I got the rental easily for day one and got my car back before school pick-up the next day. It would be nice to have the car washed before I got it back as it’s pretty grimy after getting the work done, But I’m happy to have the car once again and working order and safe on the road. Thank you, San Leandro Honda for my peace of mind

I have purchased about 10 new cars in my life and have never enjoyed the process. This experience was definitely the exception. This was the most straightforward, painless and easy car buying experience I have ever had. Both Musa and the general manager, Jose were great to deal with. They were both very helpful and knowledgeable, and able to answer all questions we had. And the office / support staff were very helpful. I cannot empathize how great this deal was. We will definitely be repeat customers.Thanks again to everyone at San Leandro Honda for making this purchase so easy.

Rico has been our family go to car sales person for quite some time now. Some years and 5 cars later, his exceptional customer service has not changed one bit. He makes sure to go above and beyond to meet your needs and make you feel like family!! Rico even took the time to bond and walk my dog around to make him feel comfotable (He barks when he feels nervous around strangers). Rico, thank you so much for all your help! I'm beyond excited to drive my new HRV!

Brought my car in for an oil change and was recommended a coolant replacement and brake fluid exchange. Prior to the service, the car ran fine and had no issues on the way home (about 5 mi.) but the following morning, the car had started to make rattling noises when placed in Reverse and subsequently continued making noise when placed into Drive.I return the next day towing the car (assuming my car was not safe to drive at that point) to the dealership, and had waited roughly 4 hours before having my car returned. They explained they found nothing after replacing the transmission fluid a second time, at one point pre-emptively suggesting I will need a new transmission all together.As of this writing, I drove home just fine. I check my car later that evening to make sure the car was still running okay, and once again I hear the same rattling / vibrations when shifted into Reverse. SMH.Spent $600 on fluids, $180 for a tow, $225 for a 2nd inspection and I’m staring down the barrel of a possible $2,000-$3,000 for a new trans. My family have been coming here for years but this may very well be my last

I hate buying cars. I recently had to buy one, and ended up at Honda after an irritatingly dishonest and stereotypical salesman experience at Mazda in San Leandro, where they sold the car I had an appt to test drive, and then tried to convince me to get a lease, after I'd specified that I wanted to buy a car. Enter Musa, at San Leandro Honda. He was friendly, but more important, he was honest, and when I told him what I did and didn't want, he was receptive and quickly pivoted to provide me with the opportunity to test drive vehicles that were within the criteria I had specified. Needless to say, I left with a nice new Honda, and I'm very happy with my purchase.
