THIS RATING IS A -5 I am Extremely disappointed in the customer service and management at this TARGET STORE in the San Leandro, CA location. I purchased $500 worth of gift cards. Not one of them was activated properly. I went back the next day to get them activated or get a refund and it's been 3 weeks and they have promised me my money back and have yet to receive anything. Miguel, supposedly a manager, Did not help me at all. They are not helpful at all. Did not show any interest in helping me. Try to make me feel like I was inconvenient to him. Was not able to get the district manager's phone number information. This was all my Christmas money. I wrote to the CEO, Mr.BRIAN CORNELL, not once but twice, Never to hear back from his office. I still have not received anything. This is very frustrating and disappointing. I have spent hours on the phone trying to Resolve this. Had to go back to the store 2 times And still no resolution. This has been too time-consuming for a big mistake made by Target. A big waste of my valuable time! Do not bother calling the store they never answer.

Normally employees are extremely rude and unhelpful. Today I delighted to run across Carlos who was extremely helpful and friendly, even though it was 5 mins before closing he didn't rush me and was super accommodating!! Thank you Carlos for being a stand up employee

Man it's so disappointing...what the hell happened to this place? This 2-star review isn't against the employees/customer/service/organization of the store itself (The store itself bumps this rating up). This 2-star is really a warning for visitors of this Target, in case you run into a similar situation that I experienced. I dropped in for a very specific item on a Wednesday around noon. So I was literally in-and-out within 10 minutes. So what I described is happened within a pretty short span of time. Found parking relatively easily, and walked up to the entrance. Parked on both sides of the entrance are 2 security cars + 1 police car. Upon entering the Target, there's an armed security guard dressed in all OD green. Doesn't exactly relax the shopper feeling like you just walked into an active war-zone. I walked to the back of the store for the electronics/books/music section. I found and grabbed what I wanted. The shelves were pretty well organized. When I walked towards the self check-out, another "customer" tried to stop me and asked a question. I'm pretty familiar with street loiterers that try to stop you on the street to hassle you for money, favors, or worse. This dude was giving off the same vibe. I completely ignored him and continued on my way cause I'm not about to turn this quick errand into a story. Later as I wait for my turn at the check-out, I spot the same guy meandering around the store. Check-out was quick enough. Someone did cut in-front of me in the queue, which was rude. I didn't make a fuse since there was enough check-out kiosks turning over. On the way out, another person loitering outside asked for a dollar. The proximity of this Target to Bay Fair BART is a real detriment to its atmosphere. I'd rather drive a bit further to other Targets or just buy stuff online in the future rather than come back here again.

I went early in the morning because I realized that the play station five was in stock and i was exited i got to the store and the employee told me that there was only one left and he told me that inorder to get a ps5 i had to do a whole process i checked and rhere was no process posted online for the target playstation five,he was just getting off work and i saw him walk out the stores with a ps5,this is completely unnecessary i find this very insulting that a target employee lied to me just so he could get a playstation five and probably resell it,horrible service too,the employee lack communication and are very rude.

Lady opened up a new check out lane and hand picked customers to come in line skipping over me. Then as a target employee walked out infront of us she set off the alarm and then i was being accused of stealing by security. Rude employees and i wouldn't recommend shopping at this specific target.

Great target, I go here to get groceries and toiletries. Very friendly staff, and security are also professional.

I don't understand the point of having store hours if you're not going to follow them... Yes yes yes, I totally and completely understand how annoying it must be when that last customer comes running in at 9:58 and you know you're going to be here just a little longer... but guess what... that's retail & restaurant life! That's what you sign up for.. And mangers... if overtime is your excuse, schedule your staff better. We don't live in a perfect world where magically at 10pm every single night the store will all of a sudden be empty and ready for you to leave! I never understood this concept and why it's OK for stores to have an arbitrary lock the door time you should lock the doors at 10 PM when you close and the people who are in there should be able to finish shopping. With this pattern more and more retailers are locking their doors before closing and it's completely arbitrary one store might think the 945 is a decent time even though their close time says 10 PM another one may think 930 so what is the point of store hours if you're not gonna follow them?

The Target at this location sits next to the Bayfair Center and also has plenty of parking. When I first walked in, I immediately noticed that they were doing some kind of construction near the restrooms on the left. The floor plan or layout of this Target is somewhat different than the other Targets. While browsing in the Electronics department, I was kindly greeted by a team member and was asked if I needed help finding something. I would have liked it better if you can enter this Target directly from the inside of the mall instead of having to walk outside. Plenty of items like household essentials, apparel for the family, and groceries are offered here. The store was clean and organized even though there was some construction going on near the front.

DONT GO TO THIS TARGET!!!!! My online orders keeps getting taken. My order was placed and within and hour it said the item was picked up. I don't usually pick up from This store for this exact reason. I typically go to the Hayward location for order picks up because this has happened too many times. Stay far far away.

I went to Walmart today, but the Walmart employee don't allow me go in, the employees told me they have new rules. They don't allow customers take backpack going to store. Walmart employee told me can left my backpack in the front, I asked them, do they have responsibility to my bag, they told me No! I really confused, she told me I can put my bag in the car. I told her we have very bad experiences for put bag in the car, because we been put bag in the car that somebody just broke our car window, steal our bag. The employee did care about that, just say this is new rules. I asked her to see the manager, but the manager doesn't show up. I feeling this is discriminated! Because I went to the other Walmart location, they never asked for this requirement. 1555 Hesperian blvd, San Leandro this location I would never go back!

This store is a disaster. Very messy shelves, racks and displays. No carts to be seen and customer service was horrible. Also watched the lady in front of me unload the top of her cart, but walked out with a load on the bottom, without paying for the items....when the clerk was notified, she just laughed. No wonder we are paying far too much for their crap.

Great store but do not buy from target online because they will scam you out of your money when your product that you have paid for do not come and they will not refund you the money that you worked hard to earn !!!! I had purchase items from them online and have them shipped too me but the items never showed up to my doorstep at all , so I called them up and was told by a return specialist that it was my fault that the items want missing and I would not get a replacement or refund at all and i was out of luck!!!!!!! At the end my fault was not being home to intercept my order according to the target. Com representative so please do not buy from target online because if your stuff dose not show up they will keep your money and do not care about you and it's all about they greed to make money and not create customer for life.

Store is very clean and well stocked. Employees did not seem stressed out and were very helpful when asked a question. I have the Target app on my phone and it gives you the location of products in the store. It even has a map of the store. Very easy to find things. You can scan UPC numbers if you want more information about something (like measurements). This will be my go to store from now on. I had a pleasant experience shopping at your store. I have used the curbside pick up previously. Item were brought out to my car promptly.

I can not believe just how bad Targets grocery delivery is! It is now 12 midnight and my order was suppose to be here between 9-10pm this evening. No updates, no calls or text message, when I chat online I am told that they are not allowed to help with shipt orders and when they try to transfer me to shipt, no one is avail. Try calling back I'm told, this was at 11pm. No one will answer because they close at 10pm. So at 11:30pm I try chatting again with target online, no luck he cant help with shipt orders he says and recommends I call tomorrow from 7am to 10pm. This ia absolutely unacceptable service. If you have deliveries then you should have at least 1 person there for problems. Shipt really sucks at this. They still owe me $22. From Jan when they tipped the driver without my consent. That took me months to finally get it worked out but now I will have to call again, the 4th time for this error. This was my final time that I will ever order thru them again!!never again, ever and I highly DO NOT RECOMMENT THEM, TARGET OR SHIPT! Targets website for their delivery or pick up service is full of glitches, error ridden and just not user friendly. I could go on and on for the reasons to not shop there but I am tired, it's now 12:15am and 2 hours and 15 minutes late! Grrrr goodnight after you wasted my time and failed in your job!!! oh and I only gave 1 star because I had to or I couldnt post, so I want 0 stars!
