Over the last 6 years, we've worked with Antonio and the Universal team on dozens of client moves. Their can-do attitude, skill in moving (including large, delicate, specialty items) are huge assets to projects our team handles. Clients trust us with their prized personal possessions and their homes. There is no greater trust than that. We don't hesitate to refer our clients to Universal as an extension of our team.

We used these guys to move from Marin to LA and had a great experience. Rudy was thorough with his estimates and responsive every step along the way. The packing and moving services were quick and efficient, and the workers were so friendly. They offer storage services also, which is a huge help as we don't have a permanent place yet, and they are able to coordinate the whole situation (packing, moving, storing, moving again). Very pleased with our experience so far, and I will update once everything is delivered on the back end.

Avoid this company at all costs! I listened to others to tell me to go with this moving company just cause they said they'll weight items instead of counting it. So i decided on this company. When from the beginning I didn't trust it. The reviews go years back there's a reason. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I was moving out of state. And they weren't in communication with one another or me. I had to keep reaching out. Multiple people told me different stories after I kept reaching out. One said truck issues. One said they didn't load the truck. One said they wouldn't load the truck til the 15th. Another said the night I was leaving they were 5 hours away from the destination I was going to be at and will be there from 1pm-3pm so I left that night on a 11 hr drive to get there. Only to come find out no communication. And I get all those responses. Come to find out they won't have my stuff here for 8 days. I came to an empty apartment. With no way of cooking, no bed, no clothes, or anything. If they were honest before I left and said they weren't leaving I could've stayed still in a house with ny stuff. And would've understood. They collected my stuff on the 8th and according to them left with it on the 16th why do you need to hold my stuff that long if you didn't plan to leave til then. That makes me assume they went through it or something especially without the proper communication. I rarely write reviews. This is only my second review on yelp. I wish it could've been a good experience but it wasn't. Very unpleasant . Didn't even get compensation or a discount. I should've stuck to my choice of a moving company.

My family recently moved from the bay area to Fresno and were referred to Rudy Garcia and Universal Movers. They really came through for us, they were professional from the start. Rudy answered my call right away, scheduled our onsite estimate and supplied us with all the information we would need in order to prepare for moving day. On moving day, their staff worked carefully and were very attentive to our special needs with no attitude or hesitation. Moving can be a stressful experience but Universal made it easy. Delivery was on time and settling onsite was also easy. If you need a dependable moving company, look no further.

Antonio and his team were fantastic. They attended to every detail of our move, from arrival time to items that needed special handling. The crew was all incredibly friendly and responsive. And the entire move happened on-time and on-budget. Will definitely use them again.

They showed up when they said they would show up. Wrapped all the furniture. On delivery day they showed up on the delivery day. Unwrapped everything, placed it where I wanted it. Took all the wrapping material. It was as though I never moved at all. Zero evidence of it. I would definitely use them again
