Asked why I couldn't put my mail in the one drive through mailbox that still remains outside and the worker behind the desk did not give me an answer. She just said, " don't put your mail there. Asked why. No response, except, "don't do it." Not very professional of her. This was at the post office on E.14th St. in San Leandro.

The overall communication from USPS staff was marked by a notably poor speaking tone. The personnel exhibited a lack of courtesy and seemed indifferent to customer concerns. Instead of addressing inquiries with a helpful and respectful demeanor, their responses were curt and dismissive. It was disheartening to encounter such a negative attitude, as effective communication is key in providing satisfactory customer service. The combination of subpar assistance, extended wait times, and an unsatisfactory speaking tone painted a disconcerting picture of the USPS experience, leaving me with a distinct sense of disappointment and frustration.

Loretta is an amazing postal employee, she cares, she wad proactive helping resolve my issue of expired change of address notice; taught me how to request Andre apply online, , advised me to do it asap, so I could resolve the issue and get back my letters back sooner, which I did; that same day I had an email and went back to that post office to update my address, And problem resolved, thanks to Loretta’s assistance. Excellent customer service! Thank you, Loretta!?

Contrary to what you'd expect at a post office, very friendly and helpful workers. Light music playing in background. Good amount of parking and wait has never been too long.

Lots of parking, never very crowded and always friendly customer service. I drive to this one, which is further away from my local post office.

I usually bring my mail here for 2 reasons, #1 there are perhaps 2 mailboxes that are within walking distance from my house and #2 if I bring mail to a mailbox it takes 2 to 3 days longer to get to its destination. Remember when there were mailboxes èvery where? Which went first the pay phone or the mailbox??...I'm off to Google it! Lol

Came to pick up my package waited 15min then the clerk says still looking for it will be right back ,how hard is to look for a package, shouldnt that be someone's job to have it alphabetized or nunbered according to the receipt left at your front door ? So unorganized shouldn't have to wait that long if someone knew how to do their job, what a waste of my valuable time.

Package delivered by this post office to WRONG house AGAIN!My house is clearly marked and has been here since 1952. How can the post office, AGAIN deliver a package to the back door of the carport of the building next door? If I did not have it set up to receive text messages regarding deliveries, another package would be lost.

Well, the service started out well! I went in to request a P.O. Box filled out the forms and gave them everything they needed from me. The Clerk handed me a set of keys to a box that didn't go with the keys. So, she gave me a new set of keys and a new box. A week later, I received mail because I order something and had it sent there. But nothing was never in my box. I tried to let two other Clerks know, but they were very unprofessional and told (yelling) me it takes 3 weeks, and I said okay. I received something from the companies saying the mail was sent back, during to the fact that the first clerk didn't do her job correctly and so I had to pay for then to ship it back to me. The lead clerk acted like she was going to help me and see if I could be reimbursed for the money I had to pay and told me to come back. When I came back on the day, she told me she gave me a bogus story about the district manager was out. So I tking this as a lost. I had no choice but to keep the box, but I will do business somewhere else. Sorry for the bad review. I just really believe in good customer service, and this wasn't it. I want to make a statement, but I won't do it. So if you're ever in San Leandro, CA don't come to this post office because I seen a lot of rude service her not just with me!!!

Worst human interaction in my life. USPS, please please, train your personnel. I'm not going to go into details, but listening, having the right attitude, work ethics, and perhaps juuuust a bit of empathy goes a long way. If someone does not want to work in front of people, they should be offered alternatives. I'm sure there are millions of things that can be done in the back of the store.

Bad costumer service , specially this? lady at the window, this’s the second time this lady yells at my mom just because she asked her where she has to write the address on the green receipt. Plus post office should hire bilingual people specially for the windows .

This store is slow and sad to be in but it accomplishes what you expect. Tip: They no longer accept packages taped with non-clear packing tape. (It's a scheme to get you to buy tape there.)

Regular post office except that the clerk LORETTA is unnecessarily obnoxious and rude even when you go in and are purposely overly nice to prevent any toxic interactions. Normal questions about how the mail works is met with a smart, crude response. The type of obnoxious and rude where it must be that she is inherently unhappy with her life. Seriously, it's her, not you, just so you know.
