Walgreens Pharmacy has a mix of experiences according to customer reviews. The pharmacy area can be chaotic, often due to high staff turnover and new employees. Customers frequently encounter long wait times, especially when picking up prescriptions, although recent improvements like utilizing a second counter have helped. The new Rx phone system has caused frustrations, with issues of calls being dropped. However, the store itself is well-kept, and the cashiers are described as friendly and helpful. The building features unique art deco architecture, adding charm to the shopping experience. Customers appreciate the 24-hour service and drive-thru option, which makes it more convenient despite the challenges faced.
Service at drive thru is horrible. Very slow and inefficient which defeats the purpose. Waited 50 minutes in the drive thru behind a lady that has an issue with her insurance coverage instead of asking her to go inside to resolve her issue. The line of cars was out to the street.

It took an hour just to pick up my prescription. And the line kept getting bigger.

The pharmacy is a mess, but I think that’s just the nature of the job. Most of the people working there are new—there’s always high staff turnover, and every time you go to pick up a prescription, it’s chaos. The rest of the store is well-kept, though—the employees are friendly and helpful, especially the cashiers.
