The staff in San Luis Obispo was very helpful getting me set up with ATF fluid for replacing in my Subaru Forester. When I had to return a gallon today without the receipt they went out of their way to find the receipt in their system. I appreciated that greatly!

Carlos is very helpful and knowledgeable while putting in our car battery. All of the other associates are also helpful and was able to help me with my car faster so I can get on with my day! Friendly and attentive service.

I cannot say enough nice things about the customer service here! I was parked in their parking lot for 2 hours fixing my car today. I hadn’t even asked for help and an employee came to check on me and offered his help. Consistently Carlos, Christian, and Micheal were offering their help and doing what they could even though they didn’t have to. It would’ve been 10x harder without their help. I 100% would recommend this Auto Zone for any auto needs, they will go above and beyond for you!

My only issue with Autozone is never getting any kind of a discount, despite being a local mechanic . Couldn't get one in Alaska, and cant get one in California. Prices are ok, and they carry a ton of stuff other places don't. Its still fairly annoying. Other parts houses seem to appreciate buying local.

Au zones are always great, especially with the reward points. This particular one in San Luis Obispo. The parking's hard to get in and out of.

Purchased a new battery and was told if I came back and and dropped off the old one I would get my core deposit back. Came back the next day to drop off my old battery, but they could not find my purchase from the previous day in their system. Asked me for a a receipt which I told them was at home. They said if I brought it back they would give me less than half of the deposit back in the form of an autozone gift card. They were extremely rude and unhelpful through the whole exchange. I will not be shopping here again and recommend others look elsewhere when buying a new battery.

Go down the street. Avoid like the plague or CoVid. OReillys is within walking distance if you need. Hard to get an answer to a straight question. (The answer was "no". Two letters, one vowel, a lot of words but answers? Maybe if they got out from behind the counter to help). Only one type of one brand for a headlamp. Down the street @ O'Reilly's they had 3 brands, 4 types, and cheapest was $12 under AuotoZone price. Maybe Autozone would have better prices if they had more than one brand. Went back for a return, service still awful. 1guy at counter, 3 including the manager didn't bother to even ask to help. District Supervisor should solve the issue, starting with the manager. Avoid like the plague!

Every time I've visited the team at this store have been super helpful and knowledgeable. Today Leslie came out to my vehicle to verify the correct sizing of wiper blades I needed. She then replaced them for me, in a few minutes. It was much appreciated to have the extra time taken to ensure I had the correct product, and they were properly installed. Will be back!
