These markets are clean, easy to see aisles. They have a large liquor selection. Friendly service.

This place has a great stock of products and overall is just super convenient. My favorite parts of this store are the selection of desserts, the selection of fancy breads, and the hot bar. Whenever I come here my next meal winds up being very convenient and decadent. They also have a good selection of healthy foods which means I get to try something new.

Ordered a sandwich. Very simple ham and cheese, tomatoes and onions with mayo. They forgot my onions and put pickles in it which I didn't choose on my form. The Dutch crunch bread was also very stale and old tasting. Only one slice of ham and had to pay extra for cheese. $12 felt wasted and was very disappointed.

I am a full time cashier with ASD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, at this location who tries her best everyday to serve the community. Yes, it is hard for me to make eye contact and communicate. So I am just asking everybody to be kind and understanding to their peers. To all of my customers, thank you!

I bought milk here and it spoiled in about 5 days. It hadn't even reached the best by date yet

The service here was so bad I was genuinely disappointed. I’m on vacation and just want to warn anybody who comes here just to visit, the workers are rude and the wings are genuinely horrible. I ended up paying what I would pay at a nice restaurant for the worst wings I’ve ever had in my life. This place was the worst mistake I’ve ever made, genuinely wish I could take back the day I stepped foot in this awful place.

First time walking into this store and I've been driving past it on way home for the last 2 years! Such a cute little store reminds me of a mini Whole Foods Market. I bought the Cobb salad since it looked like the most popular and it was very good! The vinegar dressing was so tasty I am going to check next time if they sell it separately. I personally don't like blu cheese so I just took that out and either way it was still a really good salad AND a hefty sized one for just $7.99!! The staff was friendly and welcoming I really enjoyed this place and will be coming back for my lunch breaks!

Compared to the Pismo beach store this is sad and nasty. Sorry, the salad bar was wiped down with a dry rag so you could visually see the dressings smeared all over. The greens are wilted and or not there. The bakery looked rummaged, dressings incorrectly labeled (could be deadly for allergens). Soup was spilled over the counter.Pismo location is recommended

Employees here are lovely but the price markups on items are extreme and only continue getting worse. A pack of almonds is $7 elsewhere and $11.50 here - a 60% markup - and oil is always at least $10.Good store for niche and organic items but for people in the area with no alternative grocery store nearby it gets painfully expensive.

Many good products, and tons of hot ready to eat deli foods. Blueberry pie is my favorite.

Good easy place to pick up food that's already made to eat. Also a great place for organic products

This review speaks specifically to one item. On our way to SoCal we decided to take Hwy 101. Sure it's a longer route but we had plenty of time. We were going to hit Paso Robles & San Luis Obispo. That got me thinking of Paso Almonds which is based in Paso Robles. According to its website many retail locations including this supermarket carry it. I called the market while on route. Confirming in stock. My GPS said 3 stop signs once off the freeway. Once in the supermarket I asked where the Paso Almonds were. He guided me up by the checkout counter. I purchased one bag if popcorn brittle and three bags of almond brittle. What's the big deal? It's the best butter brittle I've had. Thick, sugary, and crunchy. And plenty of almonds. Currently $15 for a one pound bag of almond brittle and $8 for a bag of popcorn brittle. I'm very pleased that my road-trip to SoCal included a detour here. Instant gratification.

Had a terrible experience while buying coffee. The older lady at the coffee shop was rude from the beginning. I got charged $10.00 for 2 macchiatos when they’re clearly $3.00 each up on the menu. I asked why they were priced a lot higher than before. She told me “No, they’ve always been this price. Everything went up in price, just like the rest of the world.”[sarcastically] As if I live in a cave and don’t shop at California Fresh Market on a weekly basis. FYI: This employee is the reason I order the macchiato’s, she recommended them to me since she use to be a Starbucks employee from what she had told me. Anyways, from then on she was looking at my girlfriend and I with a mad look on her face. She may have been disturbed because of an earlier rude customer, perhaps because I was speaking Spanish to my girlfriend or perhaps she dislikes her job? Not sure. Either way no way to treat anyone, I was polite and courteous and in no way rude even after her sarcastic remark I kept my cool. Mind you I live down the street and work in the city. I shop locally because I believe in supporting our local businesses. Although Smart & Final is more affordable I choose to shop at California Fresh Market. I don’t have anything negative to say about the store itself. Just the older lady who made me feel uncomfortable and not welcomed. Spoke to a store representative about the incident and I hope they can address the issue, wouldn’t want anyone else to get a bad experience on such a wonderful day. Anywho thank you for taking the time to read and have a blessed day, yes even you disturbed coffee lady.(:
