This shop was a lovely surprise on a trip up to Northern California. Stopped in SLO for lunch and happened to walk into this shop. My favorite stores are always unique, women owned, small businesses that have special small brands and designers, and this was exactly it! Women designers, all unique and special jewelry as well as an assortment of other gifts. They have a huge range of prices to meet various budgets, and there is something for everyone. Piece after piece was incredibly stunning and I am obsessed with their selection. I plan on stopping here every time I drive through SLO as well as ordering on their website!

This is my favorite store to visit in San Luis Obispo! Their selection of jewelry and accessories is really unique and reasonably priced. The atmosphere inside the store makes you want to stay and explore every item available. Their customer service is great and they stand behind every purchase. I look forward to my yearly trip to California and treat myself to a piece of jewelry from Len Collective.

It appears according to older reviews that this store used to carry very different products, or was a different shop altogether. This review is for the Len Collective store currently operating on Higuera Street with primarily earrings as their product.I purchased a pair of earrings here. At checkout, the girl helping me said, verbatim, “These are gold filled, which is great, you can shower in them and sleep in them no problem, just maybe take them out if you’re going in the ocean.” I was like, okay, sounds great. That was not alarming at all, and I do not have sensitive ears, so everything seemed great. She did not show me any documentation about the product, explain it any further, or mention anything at all about the return policy. The earrings made my ears BLOW UP within a day of wear. It was insane. I’ve never had issues with ANY earrings before, never had an ear infection, nothing in 25 years of wearing earrings. I have other gold-filled earrings, no issues at all wearing them. The reaction to these earrings was extremely unique. The only conclusion I can draw is that they are not honest about their materials and they are not as advertised.I gave it almost a week of trying them, cleaning, doing all the recommended things, with no improvement. When I took them back to the store one week after purchasing, the manager was super passive aggressive and claimed “we are super up front about our materials.” She whipped out a chart I had never seen before vaguely explaining the care instructions for different materials (no warnings about quality issues on this chart), and pointed to a tiny little placard near the checkout area with tiny font saying that there are no returns allowed. She said this information is available on their website, which is how they’re up front with their customers. I asked her if she felt it’s reasonable for a customer to study policies on a website in detail before shopping in a storefront. Her response was, “it’s our policy.”It seems clear that the owner of this store knows their products are low-quality and not as advertised, so they use a bait-and-switch method to encourage people to buy junk products and not be able to return them. I felt like she was telling me, “you were stupid enough to buy it, it’s your problem now.” If you believed in your products, and they were the quality you advertise and charge for, why would you not stand behind them?So now I have a useless store credit gift card in my purse that I will never use, because how could I possibly trust the quality or integrity of anything coming out of this store?I wonder how many other people have had this same experience. The whole process seemed well-rehearsed and routine for the staff.

If you come here looking for a treasure to add a little something special to your wardrobe, give yourself extra time to really look. There is so much to see! The process went smoothly. I just remembered where the items that I wanted to see were located and then the sales associate brought them out on a tray so that I could see them in the mirror. The style of jewelry reminded me of what artisans would create in Santa Cruz. A style that I really love.

I love this little store. They always have the cutest things from hats to cards to jewelry. A bit pricey, but you can tell each item is carefully and thoughtfully selected.

I love this place. A few months ago in March I bought a Maison Louis Marie travel Spray. When I got home and opened the packaging, most of the perfume was gone and the bottle was missing a spray nozzle. The staff at Len Collective responded to my emails inquiring about an exchange immediately and I was able to quickly exchange my bottle for a new one. The process was easy and stress free. Thank you all!
