“Been a good place to find random things for over a decade now in town. The furniture rotates often which we've never really bought, but we have some walk art/textiles and a few fake plants that are more unique than your standard offerings. The food section in back has always been my reason to go here when I can't find something at Oriental Market on Monterey or La Suprema in atascadero. World market often doesn't either but I can stock up on canned fish and UK/German sweets that would normally need to be bought online. Their torini syrups and matcha are usyally priced better than other brick and mortar and many online retailers. The kitchenware has never struck our style but they carry a lot of cool things that are occasionally useful like pour over coffee brewers and serving dishes. Go wander around for awhile and buy too much candy and salmon.”
“They helped us get the beer and kegs for our wedding and it was great working with them. The staff was on it and got everything delivered on time and we are appreciative! Recommend for your next party!!”
“The Owner Danny is a quality person and i truly consider it a privilege to call him my friend! Thank you Danny for all you do and have done for us we truly appreciate you!”
“Always a smart, tasty and hoppy experience. Friendly service with a friendly smile. Cal Poly students has it made with these guys right next door. Support your locals!”
“Best place to hang at the SLO public market. Great rotating tap list where they source up and down CA, PacNW, and out to the East Coast. Carry fantastic can/bottle selection as well in their fridge to the right of register. Breweries such as Trillium, Sante Adarius, North Park, riip, Russian River, Humble Sea, Alvarado Street, Maine Brewing Co, Great Notion, and many others.
Shoutout to their staff and especially Jeff for being extremely friendly and always holding it down. Love dropping in when I can.”
“If you want a great cup of coffee while shopping, this is the place. They roast their own beans and you can purchase them to brew your own. If you’re hungry, their hot and cold bar offers fresh choices as well as their sushi and Calif rolls. One of our favs if their Tri-tip burrito for breakfast. Produce is always fresh and beautifully presented. Meat dept. is great too!”
“The register guy was very friendly. They have a lot of items to choose from. And a little deli that I've heard was good. I haven't actually tried them. And there's a little area outside to sit and relax to eat or just visit.”
“I hope you know INO IS THE BEST! and he is the ONLY reason I continue to pay this store for items. . He works SO hard and he is always so positive and helpful EVERY SINGLE time I come in for ice, or redbulls... he deserves ALL THE GOOD SHIFTS! and compliment from the owner for continuing to retain your shoppers. ! Cheers.”
“My wife and I stopped by here before heading home after the SLO Farmer's Market to grab some beer and wine before heading back to our hotel and it was nice inside with a lot of selection and the guy working the cash register was super chill”
“Spacious store. The meat dept person, Erik, was super helpful behind the meat counter. The cashier at the checkout counter was very efficient and friendly, rang everything up correctly!”
“Laurel Ln. Market is a neighborhood convenince-liquor store / bodega that is worth EVERY PENNY. (If you pay attention) It's incredibly well kept, always well stocked, and 100% entierly run the owner, Mike, a NEIGHBORHOOD local.
Under-appreciated and all but modern-forgotten is the simple blessing of a small town corner store... Somewhere you can walk to, run by someone who knows your name. A place to buy a beer OR a light bulb - where you can comfortably send your KID to get missing butter...(? and a candy bar) while dinner is already being made...”
