Used the Queen Bee's for my hair/make-up for my wedding and they were amazing!
Jenn did my make-up, I'm not someone who normally wears make-up so I appericated that she was so good about talking me though what she was doing, and asking my opinon on what I did/didn't like. She was quick to offer suggestions or make a fix on anything I was being picky about. She also was always super fast to respond to any texts or emails. Katie did my hair and did such a great job. I was able to show her a pic of what I wanted and she got it perfect!!!

I highly highly recommend the Queens Bees!! Jenn was so communicative and easy to work with, and set me up with an amazing team and bulletproof day-of schedule. Aly and Amber, who did my hair and makeup, were absolute magic workers! They were so patient and thorough with making sure the looks were exactly what everyone envisioned for their hair and makeup, and kept the vibes in the bridal suite relaxed and fun. I was obsessed with how my hair and makeup looked and everything stayed in place all day, surviving an unseasonably hot day, a ceremony in full sun, and so much kissing and hugging and dancing.

Jenn and her stylists are amazing. They did a phenomenal job with my wedding hair and make up. They’re so easy to work with and make the whole experience perfect. Katie is a magician with hair and I couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out. They are the best around.

I absolutely loved working with The Queens Bees! We had Amber on makeup and Jessi on hair and they both did such beautiful work! They were also just such a pleasure to have around on wedding day and made the getting ready process so fun and not stressful in the least! My bridesmaids were also so happy with their hair and makeup so could not recommend The Queens Bees more!

Katy did an amazing job interpreting and executing the hair style I wanted for my daughter’s wedding! We had a trial appointment, since this was a destination wedding for me, and I took photos after. Shared them with my hair stylist and we discussed some very minor tweaks. In wedding day, Katy and I discussed the desired changes and she executed my style perfectly!

My experience with Jennifer Hix - the owner - was so amazing from start to finish! She was so communicative throughout the entire process and constantly ensured that I was getting exactly what I wanted on my wedding day. Katy did everyone's makeup and Ashley did everyone's hair, everyone looked so stunning! I couldn't believe how perfect everything was - when I looked in the mirror after my hair and make-up were done, I was shocked. They far exceeded any expectations that I had and I felt BEAUTIFUL on my wedding day!

I absolutely LOVED my experience with The Queen’s Bees for my wedding in Paso Robles this weekend. Paige did my makeup, and Janina did my hair. I was super anxious because I previously had a terrible trial experience with another company. However, both of these women are phenomenal at what they do. I think the most important part was the time they took before even starting my trial to ask all the questions and go over my inspo photos, and continuing to do so throughout the process. By doing this, they understood exactly what I was looking for. They then followed up on wedding day to make any changes I wanted (e.g., I switched from matte to more glowy/dewy coverage.) It was incredible to witness how they see and carry out details I would not have considered. I have never felt more beautiful and would recommend them to anyone!!

Hair and makeup are so personal and on your wedding day it is so important for everyone in your wedding party to look and feel their best. The ladies at the Queens Bees made everyone from the moms to the bridesmaids to me as the bride feel AMAZING! We all looked so beautiful and the whole day went incredibly smooth. The ladies were so patient and helpful and personalized the look for all the different styles of each girl. For me as the bride, the trials also helped to make sure I had exactly the sparkle and glam that I wanted on my wedding day. Paige did my makeup and I would recommend her to anyone. Jessi did my bridal hair and did such a great job, working with the old headpiece from my mom’s wedding seamlessly and practically (my hair stayed all night!), I would definitely recommend her. Natalya and Alex also did an amazing job on the bridesmaids and I am so thankful to all of them for their amazing artistry and for making the day so much fun and so full of pampering!! I would highly recommend the Queens Bees to anyone looking for professional hair and makeup in the SLO area!!

Jenn & her team at The Queen’s Bees did a great job doing hair for me & my bridesmaids on our wedding day. Jenn was very responsive & easy to communicate with throughout our planning process. Jessi did my hair, and I loved the way it turned out! She did such a great job of bringing my vision to life, and it stayed in place all day. I was so sad to have had to take it out at the end of the night!

I used the Queens Bees for my wedding and would use them again in a heartbeat! Aly, Katy and Jenn were so talented and easy to talk to. Each of us looked like ourselves but a dolled up version of that. I loved how the stylists enhanced our beauty instead of piling makeup on us!

Highly, highly recommend Jen and her girls to all brides looking for hair and makeup!! Not only are their skills beyond amazing but on the day of your wedding your makeup artist becomes your therapist and Jen was that for me. I woke up with a little more than a hungover from my rehearsal dinner and Jen made sure I ate, and had some quite time. She was correct when she said I would feel brand new after I got out of her chair and she wasn’t kidding. After my full face was on I was ready to walk down the aisle!
