I have actually enjoyed using Von's for a while. Their people are kind, good selection . But I chose to have groceries delivered. It is more convenient for me, with my busy lifestyle. But recently they delivered my groceries to the wrong address. I know this because the deliverer sent a photo of where they delivered my order- and it was not my address. And it was for $139.00- so no small order. Unfortunately, they have decided NOT to refund my purchase. They say they will- someday, but keep stalling. It is O.K. - I am done. In addition, when I asked them to just replace my groceries- I would even PAY FOR the same order- they completely screwed up that as well. So- I am done with Von's. No one can afford repeated screw ups ( yes, this happened before- the driver's keep dropping the order in the West part of the street, not East- IN SPITE OF SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS WHERE TO GO.).

Horrible customer service, except for at the Starbucks. They never asked for the card. They overcharged, and then were sarcastic about it.

Hello VONS Manager, I visited your store yesterday evening, and I encountered an unpleasant experience while seeking assistance. I approached a clerk, possibly named Justin or Dustin, a gentleman with long hair, a heavy beard, and glasses. Unfortunately, I cannot recall his exact name. When I asked for help in obtaining a shopping cart, this individual responded rudely. He displayed anger and frustration, throwing a fit and complaining loudly to both other customers and over his radio about having to assist me. This incident was quite disturbing, and I felt a sense of fear due to his extreme reaction. As an elderly woman who occasionally requires assistance in the store, I believe this employee could benefit from additional training to cultivate a more courteous and helpful demeanor towards customers in need. Made a mobile order on Dec 1. Expedited delivery. Food was marked as delivered. But it was never delivered. Have put in multiple requests for refund. Vons claims I was refunded. But here I am 2 weeks later and I have not received a refund. Incredibly unhappy with this stores service. Do not use the mobile ordering app. It's a scam.

Went to Vons pharmacy for vaccines. The pharmacy was great, and the pharmacist administered the shots so well I could barely feel them.

Have been to this location dozens of times, mostly just to get a single food item (like YOUR awesome select pizzas), and a pup cup on the way out at the Starbucks mini store. I have NEVER had any issues, until today.When getting to the pick-up counter, Molly tried to step up and put her paws near the client's food/drink, and I quickly pulled her back and rebuffed her. As I was doing so, the client that the order was for arrived from my left, and picked up her items. We had a quick laugh, about the dog thinking it was her order, and that was it.Until your supervisor MARK, felt the need to raise his voice from checkstand 7 to tell me that bc of this one occurrence, my dog Molly was banned from the store. Mark thought it was acceptable to do that in front of his customers in line, and without any warning or conversation.I took my dog out to the car, and came back in to seek accountability for Mark's behavior, and to see if Mark is even in a position to set store policy.He looked over at me when I got near checkstand 7, and I asked him who was his in-building leadership, he attempted to say HE would be one of those ppl. I tried to explain clearer, bc his actions had already shown me that he's not leadership. (Most polite thing I can say is, he's not 'dressed' the part.) He then, after much difficulty, produced the name Matt. I asked why there was so much confusion to name his mgr, and his reply was, "he's new."After a radio page from some associates, Matt arrived near the customer service desk. THIS is a leader, and I'm not talking about JUST being dressed for it. He did a great job during our whole conversation, and didn't protest when I said that a 1star review was still on its way. Integrity in leadership is essential.I explained what happened to Matt, and he was receptive and understanding, and said that he'd be speaking to Mark later on.The Starbucks kiosk apologized as well on the way out, and gave me a new pup cup for Molly. They seemed confused as to why it was said too.I will be following up with Matt and I also told him of my interest in speaking to district staff about this as well. I will update my review if I get clarification that Mark is not in a position to set policy, as well as that he has a firm grasp on the concept of customer hospitality.With the EXCEPTION OF MARK, this location is great.Photo of Molly enjoying her last pup cup otherwise.

I love almost everything about vons except for this: no matter what Vaughn store I'm shopping at there is always a wait in line. If I'm buying alcohol for example I have to go through a line I can't do self checkout and there's always a long line they don't open up enough of the checkouts ever and that's why I avoid Vons many times not always but most of the time I avoid Vons because of that I don't even mind the higher prices that they charge at their store because they do have good products and it's a good store and good produce but I can't stand waiting in line where the lines go all the way back into the darn foof aisles!

I'd like to think that Vons is going to either put these into greenwaste at Cold Canyon, or give them to the food bank or somewhere useful and not just trash them. That's a whole lot of pumpkins the day after Halloween.

The store is only ok. I'm happy they have shredded Monterey jack but I'm sad they don't have any crema. That was frustrating. Also, their watermelon is terrible. However, the thing that makes the store better than just "eh" are workers. I had really really great and friendly service from karson today. He told me about the vons app and helped me find bacon. He was lovely. The guy working the meat counter was also lovely. He was friendly and personable and was a pleasure to get my breakfast sausage from. The manager who was working right now.. name starts with a J was also really great. I only go to vons because they regularly have cherry Garcia ice cream, the meat dept is really good, and the staff are friendly. The remodel was pretty nice.

There Are two managers that have no back bone to get some employees to do their jobs .Sanitation is a must WE serve San Luis Obispo residents. And there can be some that might have allergies to chicken, turkey ,meats etc..Make sure you hold us accountable.Before any of us have our meats sliced ,for your safety ,make sure the slicer is wiped down with a sanitizer. Otherwise its cross contamation.Because Ive brought this issue up Sara a Deli Manager is calling a trouble maker..But in reality she just does not have the heart to stand firm and do her job.She is thee only one with a safe food handling card.Its sad because she turns her head and rather say nothing.

Pros: -The people who work here are friendly and helpful -They have actual humans to check you out rather than the self check outs, which I much prefer Cons: -They are pricy. Meat especially is more expensive than Ralph's or most other grocery stores. -They are constantly out of gluten free products. I have made 4-5 trips across town to pick up a gluten free product that it says they carry to be so disappointed it's out of stock. If they're so popular, just buy more of those items Vons! -Their potato wedges are not good imo.

I really dislike this store. They used the pandemic as an excuse to jack up their prices and keep them there, they don't seem to care about customer service, and their digital coupon scheme is a nightmare and doesn't work. They get my vote for worst food market on the central coast.

I love shopping at Vons. Because. The store is clean. It has really good Deli food. Every ate sandwiches I buy I get the ninth one free The bakery makes fresh bread in house and the donuts are really good. It also has a Starbucks inside and a pharmacy the customer service there . I can load my NetSpend card . It has Western Union And dry cleaning service I can also cash my paycheck if I need to There's a Wells Fargo ATM, Redbox, lottery ticket machine, a key duplicator , a coin machine that turns your coins into dollarsI'like using coupons there and getting my rewards at the gas station. The customer service is always good and I feel I'm getting everything I need for a very good price

Vons does a good job with pick up orders. My dog has undergone a serious surgery &I’ve been unable to shop for myself for the last four weeks.with four to go.Lucky for me Vons does a good job with pick up orders.Usually it’s Jon that gets all my stuff together & he goes above & beyond to ensure your getting all your things or suitable replacements.Also he always gets me nice produce!Thank you Jon for looking out for us during this tuff time?
