I have banked with Wells Fargo for over 50years. They have always provided me with the service and support I've needed. They have always provided this support in a most professional and courteous way. I can't imagine a better bank.

Look up Wells Fargo Bank online... they just got fined Billions of dollars for illegally assessing service charges on accounts, illegally charging interest rates and fees on their loans, and illegally making money off of people who had no idea what was going on and trusted them. Wells Fargo was ordered to return these funds to customers, and yet when I called to ask if I could have my money returned to me... they blamed the problem on me. Apparently their customer service staff didn't get the memo, but they say they will "escalate my request" to the next tier level... Really? This is Wells Fargo Bank blaming me and their other customers while they have just been caught making billions of illegal dollars charging all of us these huge $35 NSF charges... over and over again. They justify their behavior and policies by saying it's my fault for not keeping enough funds in the account, but fail to take responsibility for the fact that they stole the money illegally from me earlier in the year with even more illegal NSF charges. If my account is charged 4 X $35 in one day for NSF charges that I fail to notice in January, and they do it again in April, I'm permanently $280 short in my account... and that is money I earned, and that they took from me. They say "well, since it happened over so many days ago, we can't refund it even if we didn't calculate it correctly." That is now money that I will NEVER get back. In the meantime, my account balance has been $280 lower than I thought it was, so they assess me more NSF charges for checks I wrote that brought my balance below $280. Not below $0. Below $280. Don't play along with Wells Fargo and other big banks that have been making billions of dollars off of people who think they have no choice but to put up with these illegal policies. Banks are supposed to be the most trustworthy institutions, and they are the worst criminals of them all. I have had my personal account with Wells Fargo for over 10 years, yet they put a hold on my $1800 deposit and give me access to only $400 of it for several days. They told me this was a "favor" to me, and that I should be grateful they let me have some of it. They get to keep my $1600, interest free, for as long as they decide to hold my money. They say this is because they have to wait until the check clears the other bank. This is untrue because the monetary system is completely digital and transfers of funds are instant at this point. If they do this to 10,000 customers a day, they get $16,000,000 per day, interest free, to spend in any way they choose while 10,000 customers have do do without their own money for 2-4 days. That's 5.84 Billion dollars per year of our money to use for free. They then lend it to more people who pay them back at 22-30% on their credit card balances. AND if I have a check for over $400 come through during that waiting period, they ALSO charge me a NSF charge of $35 because I didn't have enough money in my account! And do they pay us interest on all that money they "borrow" from us for 2-4 days? Absolutely not. They charge us more fees. Here's what you can do to stop them from stealing from you: 1) Look for a bank online that does not charge "overdraft fees" or other "service charges" for their checking/savings accounts. 2) Look for a bank that will give you access to your money on the day that they get the funds through their apps... which means the day you deposit them. Don't put up with 2-5 day holds of your money. There is no reason for the bank to hold your deposit. They know immediately, when you deposit the check, whether or not it is good because their system checks the check holder's account from the moment you take the photo of the check with the deposit. They have no risk at all. If you are stuck at one of these big banks, don't let them take your money ever again. Do these things to stop them cold: 1) turn off the "overdraft coverage" on your accounts. You don't need the

We are trying to close out probate affairs for a family member. We have been dealing with a horrible system of punting questions, no one taking responsibility, phones not answered. This has happened in the San Jose area, not here. Impossible to get a human and more frustrating, to get a human who will do what needs to be done. Awful. When Wells Fargo took over our mortgage after several banking changes, we paid it off. So, glad to be done with them.

Wells Fargo how far you have fallen!!! This bank is a joke. My husband and I decided to leave! When you go online to try and book travel, it's always down! So you have to call the 1800 number you get people who don't speak English and have no clue when it comes to travel. You get hung up on, baby's crying in the background, so they say sorry I need to put you on hold. When you go into a Wells Fargo, you can't get appts for about 3 weeks. They won't update your information they tell you to go online. When I was in Vegas, they actually did update information. Wells Fargo, you need to do better.

Wells Fargo lives up to their reputation of having their singular goal of ripping off customers, lying and cheating. I have been a WF customer for 30 years. They gave me a loan to help with a business. Then after a few months they took it away with no reasoning or notification which basically now puts us out of business. Wells Fargo is nothing more than a common criminal which preys on the American public because they are greedy and liars.

Most dysfunctional bank I have ever been too. Average wait time is at minimum 15 minutes every time. I absolutely loathe going in there. Today they had one teller on a Saturday however there were several employees there to help but obviously unwilling to do so. I walked out after being in line for 15 minutes and 6 people ahead of me. Well run show. Obviously other people's time isn't a priority to them either.

I gave them 2 stars because they were nice & that is important...however, they have got to be the slowest bank. Like molasses in January. By the time I got to the front of the line, I needed a shave and my clothes went out of style. I swear a sloth was working the window. I was afraid I was going to miss Christmas. I really like Christmas. Fortunately, the two people on front of me died of old age and I was able to cut in front of them. Yeah....the were that slow.

I have been banking with Wells Fargo for ten years and its been a positive experience. I started off with a simple debit card and savings account in high school, and then started a college account where I learned about being financially responsible. They are always reliable when I need to move finances around, ATM machines are easily accessible, I'm seen fairly quickly at this branch if I go in for a question, and I've been able to get foreign currency every time I've requested it. The only downside is the credit card benefits. I definitely use my Chase Sapphire credit card because the benefits are ten times better than my Wells Fargo credit card. I like how this Wells Fargo is located downtown but it has a parking lot (that's not metered!) and a few 15-min spots right out front if it's a quick trip.

Wells Fargo is widely known for defrauding its customers in several different ways... Google it, and read the horrors. I cannot understand how anybody would trust Wells Fargo with their money. The upper management knew about everything and encouraged it. This banking empire should not be allowed to exist to defraud more people.

This was the first time I've walked into a bank in about 5 years. I was greeted on my way in by the manager(?) & I walked right up to an open teller. My transaction was complete & I was on my way out in under 5 minutes. YaY Wells Fargo!!
