Today, July 14 at 6 in the afternoon, I visited the Autozone store 195 Rancho Santa Fe to change one so I could buy it there because they sold it wrong and the guy according to me changed it and acted despotic and didn't change it and when I went I couldn't change it to another Autozone because it was already clear that they had changed it. The staff at that store are not friendly. I have been shopping with that company for many years and I won't go back to that store again.

Johna is the best. She went out of her way to help me out. Adding oil to my car and checking the oil level to make sure I can make it home safe. Thank you for your help today.

Big shoutout to Luis!
I came here on a whim in need of some car advice. I am so grateful for the time and energy he spent helping explain the products, what I would need, and further recommendations. Highly recommend his expertise!

I was in there a while ago and I had to use the restroom, and two employees came out of the bathroom at the same time. A male and a female. I don’t know how Autozone operates… but I didn’t really wanna use the bathroom after that…

If I could leave zero stars or even less I would! I visited the 195 Rancho Santa Fe, San Marcos location this evening 3/10/24 at around 8pm and what a terrible experience! I walked through the door in a relatively great mood and was not greeted by anyone. Instead I received two glum unfriendly looks from the gentlemen behind the counter who may as well have yelled " I hate my job and every customer who walks in those doors". This attitude I find to be unexceptionable in the service industry or any job you decide to do. We live in America and you can choose any job you like and if you don't like it you have the freedom to quit. I recommend you quit the job that you hate so much instead of taking it out on a customer who just simply walked in wanting your help in purchasing something. Oh now that brings me to the second major issue with these two gentlemen. I was helped (kind of) by the shorter guy who didn't seem to know much about his job and struggled to complete a simple return and purchase. I spent nearly an hour in the store doing a return which should have taken only minutes but I don't blame the guy trying to help me but The taller younger guy who I presumed to be in charge as he seemed to know his job very well. This is in no way giving any 'Good Job' to him as he was the rudest most arrogant person I've ran across in a long while. This guy refused to help out he seemed annoyed by my very presence. He took every opportunity he thought he had to make the guy helping me feel dumb. He also was very rude to me and when he finally did help he did it with such a terrible attitude I found myself apologizing to him for being such a pain. I shouldn't have apologized as I did nothing wrong. When I finally achieved my goal of returning the items and purchasing new ones the guy pretty much tossed my change at me as if I didn't deserve respect and he was appalled he had to waste his time helping me. I myself own a small business and if I ever heard of my employees acting in such a way I would be horrified as these guy are the face of your company and they are the kind of employees that will run your business into the ground one customer at a time.
Sincerely,
A very dissatisfied customer

I’ve been coming here since I moved to San Marcos over 15 years ago. Always helpful and knowledgeable. Today, unfortunately, my battery was flat. After a jump start, I went straight to AutoZone. Cesar (not sure I spelled his name right) tested my battery, confirmed it was dead and got the new battery installed. Elapsed time was 21 minutes from pulling into the parking lot to pulling out. Thanks Cesar!!!

Went here to get my battery checked. Joey checked it out told me I needed a new battery. He even jump started my truck with his personal vehicle after he had clocked out of his shift. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

Specific shoutout to Jared. Super friendly down to earth. I am not a mechanical person. Recommended all the options and varying prices i was looking for and seemed very knowledgeable. He came outside and installed my purchased parts on the car. Not only that, he was not condescending and happy to teach me how to install the parts for future reference and was a fun learning experience. Thanks Jared. Give this guy a raise and mad praise cause he is a man of the people’s. Thanks again.

We're amateurs when it comes to auto repairs. Just needed some power steering fluid. The staff was very kind.

Store manager and employees are great. Victor Fonseca district manager on the other hand is horrible unprofessional mean to employees talking to them disrespectfully even though they work so hard. I’m sick of him whenever I come in and I see him there I leave because he walks around arrogant and makes the workers feel bad about themselves . I can’t be around a person like that . It’s not productive in any way . Where did he get his training on how to treat people?
