Chevron San Marcos is a station that shows extreme pride of ownership. The car wash is noted as being high quality. The convenience store is super clean, well stocked, and has very clean restrooms that smell the best. The staff is absolutely the best in North County, providing the best service and going out of their way to help customers, including assisting with flat tires, filling propane, and helping disabled friends. They are known for their honesty. However, some reviews note the gasoline is more expensive than other stations nearby, calling it the most expensive in San Marcos. The station is also on a bad corner considered incredibly inconvenient when leaving. There are some criticisms that the convenience store constantly closes and is constantly out of things. A night shift employee receives particular praise for working hard to keep the store running smoothly.

I’ll go out of my way to go to this chevron. It’s pricier than others, sure, but that’s chevron for you. The service and cleanliness is unlike any other I see locally. Great job, y’all!
