Jim and Kevin are my heroes! I had an ancient system that died, and they really came through for me! They are totally nice guys and as professional and skilled as you could ever want. They had my system back up and upgraded in under 24 hours and at a totally reasonable cost. They don't even charge a bench charge! I can't recommend J&B Computers enough. If you need help with your computer this is the place to go. They even have systems for sale on site. Thanks guys!

I don't normally go to a computer repair store to fix my computer because I'm a college student and I'm trying to avoid spending money and I'm scared of getting overcharged. I try to fix it myself most of the time, but I recently ran into an issue I couldn't fix myself. After calling and going to multiple places I came across J&B computers. And I'd say it is the most helpful and honest computer repair store in San Marcos. And I can definitely say I didn't get overcharged, considering the prices the other places told me. If anything I felt like I wasn't charged enough.

My computer completely died on me and these guys were great every step of the way. They checked it out for free and gave me a super honest assessment. After deciding the computer was more or less totaled they fought so hard to get the data off of it. At first they were unable due to how trashed the PC was and even after trying for multiple days, they still weren't going to charge me anything. After one last attempt, they managed to get all the data off of it! I worked with Kevin who was fantastic. The guy working the front desk was also great. If you need computer help, I'd highly recommend talking to the guys and J&B.

Came here to diagnose a computer that would not power on. I was fully expecting to have to replace a part, but thankfully they did not find any hardware issues. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and was able to get my computer to work again and in better shape than when I brought it in. I would definitely recommend coming here for any electronics related issue.

I had a great experience with J&B with some issues with my laptop. The machine wouldn't take a charge, and wouldn't power on, and essentially I was at a standstill. Kevin at J&B was able to look at it same day, and diagnose the likely issue. Because it was just a minor setting change, the bench diagnostic and quick fix were at no charge. Obviously they are an ethical group, and I will certainly be back with any other computer issues. Thank you!

SD County's best kept secret tucked away in San Marcos. Can't say enough good things about James and his team. Problem: Failed OS 10.13 Upgrade causing inability to boot on an 2011 MacBook Pro 17" This laptop is a treasure to me. I baby it. Communication: A+++ Everything and anything was explained to me in a language I understand. Every option and scenario was offered. Every possible outcome was explained in great detail. Called me personally multiple times to give me updates. Always asked if now is a good time to talk. Polite and articulate. Work: A+++ Fixed with the least amount of intrusive and manipulation. Business tactics: A+++ If every business on every street corner had the ethics and morals of J&B the world would be a better. Future business: I'm finding reasons and items in my house to give them more business.
