Outstanding medical service in a top notch facility. The emergency staff is expert and thorough. Would highly recommend this facility for E/R care.

Parking. There is not enough.Poor planning when hospital built. Employees took all patient parking. Waited 15 minutes going round and round. Handicapped persons struggle having to park far away.

I've never had a good experience with this Medical Group. I would try to find another group. Every time I have to deal with their offices is a nightmare. San Marcos location is a very poorly managed office and some of the doctors practicing there are much better.

It's just cruel to see how Kaiser treats their patients. They, knowingly, built a hospital, in a parking area of an already existing urgent care and medical offices, WITHOUT adding/building any extra parking for patients. They actually took away parking from patients for the hospital staff. Now when I ago for an appointment I have to drive around the parking lot, with all the other patients looking for parking, for 20 or more minutes. I know people that just left and missed appointments due to parking. It would be too long to write about the poor care I've received from a couple of specialty departments there, unless you're critically I'll, you get blown off, too many patients, not enough doctors. The two stars is for one doctor that has been good, and listens, and is actually helping me, at this time.

Today I needed a blood draw and an EKG. I want to showcase a medical technician named Anoush. She was kind, effecient and fast. She drew blood, which needed 7 or 8 vials, without any pain at all. She also administered my EKG, which was done quickly and with a great caring attitude. Happy New Year, Anoush! Heres to you!

Honestly love this pharmacy, they’re fairly quick most of the times and the pharmacists are all very nice and open to answering any questions. The only reason I’m giving this a 4* is because of one of the pharmacy techs, Jonathan, who has been rude and impatient every time I’ve interacted with him. I’ve had two different times where I got new medicine and normally they always have the pharmacist come over to explain it and make sure you understand everything with the medicine but both times I had to ask him if I can talk to a pharmacist. I went in today to get a new prescription and from the get go he was very impatient and not friendly. He got me the new medicine and then said bye so I had to ask if I could please have a pharmacist review the medicine and he didn’t even answer me, he just walked away and then told the pharmacist that I asked for one. I’ve been going to this pharmacy for years and every other staff I’ve interacted with has always been friendly and helpful and he is just the exact opposite. I’m honestly not even sure why he works there if he’s clearly not wanting to be helpful or friendly to the people who come in.

Rude. Maybe I'm a big baby right now from being sensitive to everything, but I think my doctor was rude and was shaming me for asking for a note. I asked my doctor, at the end of the appointment, to please write me a note for work so that I can have one more 15 minute break, because I'm pregnant. She continued to tell me "well we don't really just write notes just because you want one, there has to be something actually wrong" and "there's nurses that work 12 hour shifts and are on their feet all day" She was comparing me to how I feel needing an extra break to nurses who choose to work 12 hour shifts. And maybe I'm being sensitive, I am pregnant after all, but I am also on my feet and am super busy at my job. It might not be for 12 hours, but it's still hard as this is my first time being pregnant and I'm super exhausted all the time. Sorry for asking you to get me a note, all I wanted was an extra 15 in my work day. :) Also, Every other appointment I had through the Kaiser OBGYN has also been crap. Maybe you guys need to find happy people to work here. Happy I'm leaving Kaiser!

My husband's appointment was at the end of November to see his primary physician and spent a half an hour driving around for a parking space. Frustrated and stressed, he had no choice but to park a block away in another business's lot and relieved that his car was not towed when he returned. Not sure how someone is supposed to obtain care if there's not adequate parking for its patient/employees.

EXCELLENT BIRTHING EXPERIENCE!! Kaiser isn't the hospital choice of San Diego, especially when you have competitors like Scripps, Sharp and UCSD. But we chose Kaiser because it's around the corner from our house and we didn't want to have to drive thru traffic to Scripps. And it's the new hospital! So expect state of the art rooms and technology. I couldn't be more happy with my first birthing experience! I went in for something else but due to my high blood pressure they wanted to induce me. I was ok with it because I really don't know what to expect. They should know best. Got induced, had my baby. Stayed for 2 nights. The labor and delivery room was very comfortable. The temperature was right. I wasn't sweating like hell when pushing. Nurses were amazing! Our midwife, Jessica M. was the best! She was personable, AMAZING, funny, and just overall so compassionate about babies, it made us feel good. All the other nurses like Brittni, Bri, the lactation specialist, pediatrician, doctors, night and day time nurses who visited us were so amazing. I forgot their names! The room after delivery was nice and comfortable. There's a huge flat screen TV, a couch that turns into a bed, comfortable, everything about the new hospital was so comfortable. It was like staying in a resort... You can also order "room service". The food was pretty good too. Even the cafeteria food. I couldn't be more happy with my first birthing experience! Can't thank the nurses and doctors enuf for delivering my baby. They also taught us to change diapers, breastfeed, and swaddling our newborn. We learned so much during our stay there. This is for the new labor and delivery hospital, pediatrician and ob/gyn office. They are great... but I can't say the same for the nurses clinic.

Always had a good experience here the few times ive been. But wanted to especially shout out Amber in the labs upstairs. I regularly pass out when I get my blood taken (which sucks) and have to lay down like in a bed because ive fallen out of the chair before. She was so quick and confident and reassuring and had to take like ten tubes bc its added up lol but she did it so quickly and I did not pass out and I am so so grateful

The worst hospital. Labor and delivery is horrible. New stuff maybe, but horrible and indifferent employees that don't care about you at all and treat you like a piece of garbage. Come here if you want "modern" patient care. Where they ignore you, treat you like crap, then overcharge you. How can a new hospital suck so bad? Honest question
