I had the pleasure of working with Jonathan at my first visit. The branch was SUPER busy and the line seem to last forever. The first thing that stood out to me was that Jonathan acknowledged me in the line and let me know he was aware I was there. When it was my turn he gave me his undivided attention while answering all of my tedious questions. He provided service that made me feel like family. TRULEY exceptional service from my other visits at other locations. He turned an ordinary experience extraordinary! Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

never enough tellers when they know they will be busy. my transaction takes about 1 min and I end up waiting 15-30 min every time I enter the building. regardless of the location! so annoying. No ATM access for me either.

I needed to add a beneficiary on my Wells Fargo Accounts at my branch in Oceanside Marron Rd. Went in there November 10 to talk with a banker. Nobody...ZERO bankers even thou there's 6 desks. nobody. So I drove 40 minutes to the main Wells Fargo in San Marcos on Via Veracruz. Hopefully to talk with a banker. Went there but only one lone banker. Asked customer Service at teller area ...what's up ?...need an appointment. I was very disappointed until I ran into Nadia Diaz who was more than happy to help. She was upbeat , patient and very helpful. I was out the door in 10 minutes. Thank you so much Mrs Diaz....really appreciate your help

The folks behind the counter are typically very helpful and kind - they know your name if you come enough and Eleanor in particular is great, so this review is not a reflection of their work; but Jesus Lord Benjamin Christ - the line here is almost always trailing out the door.Whether you come in on a Wednesday at 11 or a Friday at 4, you better bring a book because this place IS GOING TO MAKE YOU WAIT. And we're not talking 5-10 mins, I have literally stood in line for over 30+ minutes, watching a mere *4* people ahead of me shuffle step by step as a paltry 2 tellers are posted. This is made even worse by the fact that there is always a team of people doing "something" in the background; I'm sure their busy but the optics of sitting in line while two tellers are working and a team of people are lallygagging are piss poor. The last time I was here, a frustrated woman started shouting "Why is no one working?! We are all on lunch break!!! What is going on?!" She probably felt like a crazy person afterwards but tbh we all agreed with her.

I came here to take care of some trust business. The banker I met with - Lisa Villegas - took care of everything with patience and excellent customer service. I had previously visited the Vista branch on S Santa Fe and they were clueless. Thanks again Lisa!

In the beginning when I opened an account with this branch, service was great; however, my last few experiences have been quite frustrating. The most frustrating was when I tried to close out my safe deposit box before moving out of California. I cleaned out my box but was unable to turn in the key without an appointment. When I tried to get an appointment, the first available one was after we left California. I tried to explain to them that I was leaving and would not be back; however, no one was willing to help me. Out of frustration, I left the key anyway. A couple of months later, I was charged a fee for the safe deposit box, which had been cleaned out. I called the branch; however, no one was willing to help me, so I called the home office. They were able to reverse the charges. I tried numerous times over the year to get the situation rectified and no one at the San Marcos branch was willing to help me. I finally got someone to work with me, or so I thought. They sent me paperwork to relinquish my safe deposit box. I followed their instructions to get it notarized at a Wells Fargo bank in my new home. I did that and sent it back registered mail ($14.33), and checked that the form was delivered to the San Marcos branch. I thought everything had been taken care of then. I was wrong. They charged my account for another year's fee for the safe deposit box. This experience was just one of many negative ones that I had with this branch. I will be closing my account with Wells Fargo all together. I would avoid this branch.

Let's just say that I kick myself every time we open an account at a Wells Fargo branch...and this one in particular! The good news was that Brenda really did try to help with what should have been a very simple transaction. The bad news is that their 'personal bankers' have no desire to help or be 'personal' in dealing with any transaction....I would have been thankful for even just the minimum without all of the excuses of covid staffing. Seriously?!We were always taught that the customer is always right and thoroughout the years, we have been very good customers. Today took the cake and I'm appalled at the rudeness of their 'personal banker' Lupe Hernandez. To be fair, she did let me sit around for an extra half hour to see if she could see me IF her appt. canceled. I loved when I walked by and saw her sitting by herself and on her phone doing nothing with anyone. Again, a simple transaction that could have taken 10 minutes allowed me to be at that silly branch for over 1 hour. Ridiculous! After Lupe's 'non personal touch' to my banking, she sent me back in line to have the teller make out the cashier check. Amazing. You'd think she could have finished the transaction, seeing how busy the line was in the first place. If I were a teller, I'd tell her to get off her bottom and do something! I look forward to trying other branches...or maybe just taking our money and running from Wells Fargo. I encourage you to stay away...unless you want to be treated like an inconvenience AND waste an entire afternoon.

I needed to pay my CC bill and thought that while I was running errands to use this branch of WFAt the other branch, in Carlsbad there is fast service, no waiting....not at this branch! 35 min wait to do this simple transaction!!!! Not only that- I asked the teller if she would tell me if there was still a balance after giving her the payment....she 1st asked for my id then was going to put me through a few more hoops....after the long wait, I had no patience to do this with her, especially since I couldn't understand what she was saying with the masks and screens and the volume of her voice.I am getting sick of business's using Covid for an excuse to make us waste hours of our days waiting in lines instead of hiring more staff to streamline their service!
