Always Quilting is a large quilting store in San Mateo with the best fabric selection in the Bay Area. It offers an amazing variety of fabrics, from 1930s designs to Japanese fabric, plus sewing knick knacks and tons of patterns. The large range of fabric is organized in a clear way. The store has a large area in the back for classes, a helpful clearance area and scrap bins, and a machine that stitches elaborate designs over quilts. Staff are helpful and kind, especially to newcomers. It is a super cool small business with an online shop, fun to browse, though it can be a bit hard to find.

They were soooo helpful and kind to newbie to quilting and have the best fabric selection in the Bay Area. They don’t bother you and can browse away just ask if you need help.
