I just love this place. I will be honest, when I first moved to this area and had to leave my beloved Los Angeles CP locations, my closed-mind led me to think that this location was not half as good as the ones in Los Angeles.I soon learned that this studio actually has classes for everyone. If you’re in the mood to get your a** kicked, try Klub Krish at 6pm on Fridays. If you want to sculpt and jam out to a great playlist, go to Rachelle’s yoga sculpt classes. If you want to squeeze in a killer leg day in 45 min instead of 60 min, NJ has you covered with her core strength x classes every Thursday evening. If you need some zen after a long week of work, carve out some time to go to Jason’s C2 class on Friday mornings (I wish my schedule allowed me to go to this one more often). And these are just some of my favorites that are at convenient times for my schedule. You cannot give this place one try and decide if you like it or not because every class and teacher is truly unique. What I ESPECIALLY. love about this location, are how many core restore and yoga workshop classes they’ve recently added to the schedule. If you are a member with unlimited access, you are truly missing out if you don’t go to these classes. Susan’s Tuesday core restore class is so amazing - not going to spoil anything you just have to see for yourself by going to class and how you feel after.Like every corporate institution, there are going to be policies that may frustrate you from time to time. Teachers and students alike hate the fact that corepower charges $2 for one towel…. EVEN if you are an unlimited member. I would also like to add for this particular location, the parking can be a bit tricky. My advice is to park in the structure on E Fourth St between S B St and S Railroad Ave.Regardless, Corepower San Mateo has truly been an incredible addition to my daily routine, and I feel fortunate to have the privilege to be able to be a member here.

Amazing Friday evening class taught by instructor Krishil. Tonight's theme was called "Club Krish" and it definitely feels like you're listening to upbeat music from the club! This class is not your typical yoga class. It is so much fun and the energy is incredible. Even though I consider myself quite active with fitness, this was a VERY challenging class and I got an amazing workout. It left me so sweaty afterwards and I definitely felt accomplished finishing the class. The music was great and Krishil is such a great instructor! I was definitely not expecting both yoga and a high intensity workout, but you get the best of both worlds. Now I cannot wait to come back again!

WOW. I did not expect to love it here.I was super against hot yoga because I thought I would feel like I can't breath but Krish convinced me to try his class and I'm so glad he did.I tools the body sculpting class. And it was nothing like I imagined. I thought it was gonna be boring with meditation music in the background but he was so funny throughout the whole thing, and the music playing was like up beat hip hop and he even played some bad bunny! He gave instructions clearly so as a first timer I was able to follow along and move with the veterans in the class. He also gave instructions on how to do the easy version of the exercises we were doing, if we weren't able to do the normal one. At first I thought I wouldn't use them, but as I grew more and more tired I found myself using mostly the easy versions. And I'm kinda in shape! I workout at a gym and this session kicked my butt. This gave me a better understanding that I need to work on my cardio and I had fun along the way. 10/10 highly recommend this class. If you can, take Krishil's class, I know he gets booked up quick.Pro tip: bring a big bottle of cold water, and wear loose fitting gym clothes.

Having been a member of CorePower years ago and now returning, I'm disappointed at some of their corporate decisions...While no fault to the employees, CorePower could do a better job at choosing optimal locations for their studios - they make enough in annual profits to do so, seeing as their 10+ years old. This location is small, has a single studio, a tiny singular entrance hallway causing customers to bottleneck at every entrance/exit and only 2 single person bathrooms/showers. It's frustrating to pay increasing membership fees and receive less in return. The studio itself is located next to a busy restaurant where you can hear employees cough, sneeze, laugh and move about next door through the wall! At least make the studio soundproof for your customers. Why do members have to pay for towel rentals? It's costs nothing to cancel but they charge a $15 fee - why can't those funds be allocated towards FREE TOWEL + MAT use for members?? I'm disappointed in their cheap "free products" located in the bathroom ... that being said, I do enjoy the classes and various instructors I've encountered. Applause to them for sure ?? ??

I like that they have C2 classes as late as 8pm. The first thing I checked when I was looking for a yoga studio was the class schedule. This is helpful for people like me who can’t make it to 5/6 pm classes sometimes. I’ve been doing my practice at home on and off but it’s nice to be in a yoga studio because it gets lonely working from home and doing yoga by yourself at home. Studio is clean, there are shower stalls for those who need it. Padlocks for lockers are available.Other thing is I haven’t seen anyone do adjustments which I wish they would so we (or I) know if there’s anything I need to correct.

I don't think it's fair to charge $30 for a class taught by amateurs. Very few teachers are experienced or skilled enough to teach advanced level yoga classes. Most of their classes are beginner level. It's disappointing to see how some studios are using yoga as a revenue generating business. I suggest going to San Francisco or yogasource in Palo Alto instead.

Great classes and instructors. Love the c2 flow especially. Yoga sculpt is fun once a week and c1 is a good option when I want do still do yoga but have a break from the heat.

Go to a real yoga studio instead of this corporate, overpriced drivel. There are better places to do hot yoga.

Keeps me going for so many years. It is the one part of the day that is to myself. I love all the mix of classes and seeing the breadth of experience that the teachers bring :) I love the little pop-ups and opportunities to try new things as well. Shout out to Jackie for pushing me the extra mile always, to Brianna for the confidence and calm in every class, and Ashley & Marissa are great too. I hate the parking situation at San Mateo location, but that's my only complaint.

I tried yoga for the first time and was very satisfied! It's great that they provide a two-week trial period, towels, shampoos and anything else you might need after class. The instructors are knowledgeable and explain at the end of the class from a spiritual perspective what the workout was about!

The fact that you require a vaccine to do YOGA is absurd. I would never want to visit a studio like that, I can't imagine the mentality of the staff.
