“They are so friendly and the best price I found! I had purchased a long, unlined overcoat from old navy ($38), and wanted 8” off the length. I got quotes off yelp ranging $45-60, which I was willing to pay but fortunately took one last chance at J’s tailoring. I walked in with my coat and when they quoted me $40, I was elated. They had it ready in one week and I’m super happy with the alteration and service.”

“This was one of my favorite experiences, not because it was proximite. Not because they did the best job of any cleaner I've ever known, and I live in Tiburon and still opted to come down here when I would work from my Peninsula office. It was that good.But the 5 stars was for Jeff. I wanted to leave this here before a new owner comes in. Jeff always had a smile, always remembered your name, asked questions about life, and over the last 20 years became a good friend, a constant before, during, and after the pandemic, and I only wish I could have said goodbye. Taken from us far too young, a major life experience for me, and a major source of joy, will be leaving with Jeff, and if any of his family or friends were to research him, in this time of grieving, I wanted this out there that he was a major impact on our community, a shining light of friendly and kind spirit, and a wonderful business owner that added so much to our little San Mateo. Honestly the most reliable dry cleaners/alteration service and the owner is the nicest and is so helpful in making sure that I am getting the proper help I need. Also, I've recently gotten a pair of pants and a fleece blanket dry cleaned and their work reached my expectations! It's amazing to have a reliable and local dry cleaning with a welcoming owner!”

“Did a quick Google search and this was the closest dry cleaner to us so decided to give it a shot. Dropped off a suit, dress and coat. Turnaround time was initially quoted to be 2 business days, but ended up taking an extra day. Working with Roy, the owner, was different than other dry cleaner businesses that I've worked with as he prefers calling/texting his cell phone when dropping off or doing any pickup as he is not always around during business hours. I didn't mind it, but just keep that in mind if you're used to dropping in on the anticipated pickup date. Wouldn't hesitate to come back. FYI: Prices for us were 15.50 suit, 12.75 dress, 9.50 jacket”

“Visited this place three times. Two times for dry cleaning my winter jackets (the heavy coats with fur hoodie) and one for some paddings. The owner helped me pad the holes on my pants.The dry cleaning service was good. The owner did a pretty good job with removing the dirty parts on the jacket’s sleeves. The downside was it was quite pricey imo ($50/1 time) my jackets are not big brands, and I got them on sale ($50 each), so $50 for cleaning two jackets was almost the same price for buying a new one.”
