This place is huge. Perhaps too huge. For somebody who not often shops at Michael's it's incredibly hard to find something in this large of a store. This is why I would rely on an employee to help me navigate. Prices are always a little on the high side at Michael's so that's expected. After walking around the entire store to not find the item I needed, I did however find that there were no workers in this Costco sized store. The sole worker is at the front as a cashier. So I waited in line with no items to ask a simple question. When I got to the front, the cashier told me that I could just pay at the kiosk if I'm using card so she won't have to help me. I told her I was just there to ask a question. She seemed nice enough, but she only pointed me in the direction of the store where I should look for my item. And despite not being very busy, she did not show me to the section. So I went wandering through the store again only to not find my item. I decided that since I can't find a pair of craft scissors in a craft store that I probably should look elsewhere for these scissors. On my way out she asked if I was able to find the scissors, so I told her no. She said that her store probably didn't have any. I replied that it was probably more the fact that the store is huge and I can't find anything. She replied "Okay, well have a nice day sir." and let me walk out. I just can't believe how little people care these days. If I acted like this at work, I'd never sell anything. Two stars for having a good sized lot and store, too bad I couldn't utilize it better.

I haven't been to Michael's in quite some time today I go to buy some ribbon & some Easter supplies I get to the cash register. They have one person there, helpful as she can be to instruct how to use self serve check out. I start scanning things but items come up with different prices than what i seen in the aisle. The sales girl starts asking me what color was the sign that shoed the discount. Hell, i don't know what color it was. She starts to tell me I need to bring up coupons on my phone to get discounts. she was polite, as she can see my frustration. I then tell her I think that self-serve is really is depleting employee workforce, she then starts to school me on how it does not reduce staffing. I continued scanning but with the frustration of pointing the inaccurate pricing. I gave up... cancelled my purchase & left everything thing at the self serve. Sometimes i feel that businesses are leaving the concept of customer service or maybe im just to set in my way to acclimate to the new ways of doing business.

Everything is overpriced and the service was awful. The woman (Fina or Fida?) helping us wasted our time on a meaningless coupon ($5 off for Presidents' day reward) that wouldn't redeem because of their flawed rewards system. This typically wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for her uselessness. She was the only staff member at the checkout. After we spent 10 minutes trying to fix the issue with the online coupon without success, we just paid for what we needed ($1 poster board), without the coupon. A waste of money and time.

Insanely overpriced and absolutely terrible experience with the staff, who were rude and unwilling to help the entire time. Cannot recommend.

Rude staff and shockingly under-supplied store. I tried to ask an employee where I could find the supplies they were looking for, and they were so annoyed and unwilling to help that I couldn't believe it.I decided to try and find the items myself, but after walking through the entire store, they didn't have anything. Wish I could rate 0 stars if I could. Will never come back again, and I don't recommend anyone come here.

If one wants a "concentration camp"-style experience while shopping for things that are supposed to be fun (like art supplies), then this is the place to go. I am not, however, into that, and am tired of this store's particularly egregious alarmism. If one enjoys shopping with paranoid masked people, paranoid masked employees, and no access to a public restrooms (even though the majority of shoppers are easily over 60!), then this is also the place for you. It is a well-established fact that the San Francisco Peninsula is a bastion of Leftism, and that the art/craft retail community revels in this. However, Michael's has undeniably demonstrated that mental illness is the over-riding theme of it's corporate policy, and not liberalism.

I wish I could shout from the rooftops about the amazing experience I had tonight at this store. When my eight-year-old daughter and I first arrived, she was hoping to find something that she saw at another Michael's store recently in another city. i didn't know my way around this store, so I asked the first sales person I could find. Luckily, I saw the friendly and welcoming face of sales associate Brian. I simply asked him if he knew where to find the dragons. He knew immediately what we were looking for and directed my daughter and me to the dragons right away. after my daughter and I did our shopping, we headed home. It was when I got home that I realized my phone had accidentally been left at the store. My daughter and I got back in the car and drove back to the store. Meanwhile, my husband had called the store to ask them if a phone had been found. When I entered the store, the manager, Marlena, kindly approached us and noticed we were looking around. She asked us if we were looking for a cell phone and we told her that indeed we were. both she and Brian were so kind-hearted, they did everything they could think of to help us locate the phone. they went out of their way to help locate the missing phone. Luckily, it had been picked up by a customer. We were so relieved. Marlene and Brian were just the warmest and most kind professionals I have encountered in such a very long time. They went above and beyond, even at the late hour of the night right before closing. Thank you so much to both of them. we will certainly be back shopping soon and will look forward to seeing them both.

This store is really big. And they have a wide range of products for craftings and DIYs, from the thing you know to the stuff you don’t even know they exist. I also love that they have self checkout kiosk. Less human interaction!

A Customer Service Associate named "Diego" helped my wife and i with everything we needed at this Michael's location. He has been really respectful and helpful. We will definitely come back at this location due to his work performace and customer service. He should be a shift lead or a supervisor. He has the skills and could set an example towards his Co-workers!

It's a really nice store, very clean and the staff was super friendly at the check out, just wished they had more staff on the shop floor.

Just a great, happy place in my opinion. Simply the nature of the business. Who doesn't love crafts and creativity?

Good, comprehensive selection of craft materials at the ready, especially for school projects. Sometimes things are missing like pumpkin cutting knives even though they have literally everything else for the season including pumpkins!

New customer check out is horrible. No directions, although not complex, not able to get my usual senior discount.

Rude employees. Don't know anything about their products. All the signs are wrong. Not going back here again
