The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA is a great facility with a very new building. The staff is amazing, helpful, and shows so much compassion and respect. They are supportive and answer all questions. The organization provides greatly discounted and highly subsidized costs for services, which are less than half of what other vets charge. They offer spay and neuter services, basic vaccines, and pain medication, often with next-day availability. Appointments are made through their website. It is the best place for these services and also assists with end-of-life arrangements, providing respectful care. The organization works on charity and does great work supporting the community. Donations are recommended if you utilize their services.
All humane societies are great. I love the dog I adopted from there. UPDATED!: I got another dog and their spay& neuter clinic was excellent at giving my new buddy a great surgery!
