I visited a few farmer's markets when I came to the U.S., and they were great places where I could buy as many fresh organic vegetables as I needed. In addition to vegetables, you can taste homemade bread and food from each country. The food quality is also very good. If you happen to find a Farmer's market while traveling, it might be a good idea to stop by.

What a great Farmers’ Market! Amazing selection of vegetables, fruits, bakery goods, cheeses, and several food trucks. The shawarma from the bright green falafel truck is a must-try. Large parking lot makes it very easy to spend a couple of hours at this awesome market!

The best and biggest farmer’s market in the surrounding area. A lot of great options and very friendly/helpful people that will suggest recipe ideas. I’m learning how to cook without using convenient/packaged/processed food.I can definitely feel it if I skip a week. It also feels good to support local farmers ❤️

While this is not my favorite farmer's market (the best is Saturday at the Ferry Building in San Francisco) it is most certainly a great farmer's market. The view of the Bay is lovely and there is usually a nice breeze. Parking is fine if you come early but harder the later it gets. Bring bags as some charge for plastic bags. Most vendors also charge more for credit cards so bring cash. I only buy organic and at least a third of the stalls are organic. Highly recommended.

Great farmer's market. Parking can be tough at peak times. Lots of great quality food here, and things you don't regularly come across. Prices match the quality/scarcity. Definitely worth checking out. Even just to go and enjoy the views - man has CSM changed since I was a student there

Amazing hilltop location with view of bayAt least 30+ booths. Outer loop is fruits, veggies, fresh eggs, mushrooms, free range meats, fish. Inner loop is cooked/prepared foods like pastries, kettle corn, bolani. Rodriguez Farm for organic strawberries! One of longest lines but moved fast. Far West Fungi for fresh mushrooms you don't get in store. Most places accept cash or card.

One of the bigger and nicer Farmer's Market with regard to variety, quality, number of booths....and the view on a clear day! Usually, a trip to the Farmer's Market is a quick visit and leave. Since it's been awhile and was looking for mulberries I decided to look around a bit but after the 2nd aisle (about 5) had bought plenty! Mulberries, blueberries, Shima's Jerky Chips, El Portenos kale empanadas, tarts/pies and breads...oh I think I'm done! Got a bit overzealous and bought lots. Of course, it wasn't all for me! And yes, they offer Kettle Pop kettle corn! Can't leave without any so picked some up for the nieces and nephew as i noshed on the way home...hey, gotta make room so the bag can be closed Located at the College of San Mateo towards the back by the Science building. When you see the signage for College of San Mateo on W Hillsdale Blvd, make that right (GPS will direct to W Perimeter Rd) and stay to the right and follow the signs! Basically, just follow the cars in...I went about 930am and it wasn't too crowded but slowly getting there. Plenty of lot parking. Bring your own bags, and cash for "just in case" as one stall out of 6 couldn't read my card! Bah!

We visited this market for the first time this weekend and I loved it! It is set up in a huge parking lot of the college of San Mateo. There are a ton of vendors selling locally-grown organic vegetables, freshly picked berries from farms nearby, baked goods, coffee and flatbreads. You can get amazing views of western Hillsborough hills from there. Highly recommend this place. Don’t forget to bring cash!

Great place for fresh veggies et al. Put really crowded on nice weather days. You will encounter lines at a number of booths. The organic strawberry line was at least 50 people long 5/13/23. Others are 5-10. There is lots of parking yes, but the lower lot was full yesterday. There is more distant parking with a bit longer walk. There is also handicap parking at the entrance. Watch out for folks with pull wagons... some of them never got a license. ?

This is a big market and there's a beautiful view of the bay because it's at a community college that's on a hill.
