This beauty store engages in highly questionable business practices. If you purchase an item during their 21 day sale (for example, at 50% off) and simply need to exchange it for a different color (ie. Foundations, exact same product), they’ll refuse to honor the original price. Instead you’ll be asked to pay the price difference for the day - in other words pay the full cost price for the exchange.
Thus your sale discount is completely voided just because you needed a different shade. This is not standard practice in the beauty industry- most reputable retailers allow even exchanges for the same items at the same sale price. Should you contact their corporate office, they’ll inform you of this same practice.
Unlike other online retailers, sale items purchased online cannot be exchanged either. This policy feels deceptive and punishes customers for shopping during promotions. Shop with caution!

I came in to the store knowing that I wanted a MAC lipstick, and Rachel greeted me with a warm smile and was so patient with me and my indecisiveness. She listened to what I wanted and answered all my questions, and educated me about the different formulas and how they differ from each other. She also paired the lipstick with a lip liner and said “once you buy a lip liner, you’ll never go back!” and now I use them both every day, everywhere. I’m so happy with my purchases and with my experience! Will definitely come back!

Yesterday, I came by this location to purchase a perfume, no one greeted, or asked if I needed help, went to the register, said “Hi” 3 times to a male cashier(they were 3: 1 male 2 females), the third time he finally turned his head and asked; how he could help me, told him I wanted to purchase a perfume, then he replied, that he didn’t have the key but will tell the girl who did and literally walked away to the front of the store, leaving me just there, I looked for the “girl” w/the key but she literally saw me and turned her face away…no problem you guys don’t want to take care of your customers, fine!!!Today, went to Sephora: I was greeted, guided to the perfume section, told the girl which one I wanted, she looked for it, paid and within 5 min I was (greeted, took care of, acknowledged, and happy with my $200 purchase)… even do the store was packed due to weekend.

I just want to say a staff named Stephanie was so helpful!! My experience was excellent, the products were very organized and I had a lot of fun at the store!! I visited on 8/10/24 around 3:30!! Everything is perfect!! ????

This is my neighborhood Ulta so I always pop by because I'm obsessed with skincare and makeup. Usually I'm ignored which is fine by me because then I can peruse at my leisure. Today however, I came in and the 3 ladies at the front saw me, turned away from me, and resumed their conversation. I felt really awkward so I greeted them but still was ignored. I started shopping and then one of the ladies went up to me and asked me in Spanish if everything was okay. I had already greeted them in English so it did feel very pointed to have her approach me in Spanish and assume I could not speak English.It was a really fraught interaction and the rest of my shopping experience was ruined. The only plus was that the girl at the checkout counter was very nice and polite. Trips to Ulta are supposed to be fun; they should not be places where people are ignored/spoken to in a different language because of how they look. I really hope this becomes a more welcoming place in the future as I do love the makeup there.

Great customer service and the store is very clean and organized. I was color matched by an associate who was very helpful and took the time to show me the correct foundation color.

Not one person asked to help me or anyone else, there are 4 girls giggling behind the counter though. So I left with less product than I intended purchasing, because I needed assistance.
