Slowest pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Completely understaffed and I feel bad for the employees but also the line should not move 1 person every 20 minutes.

Great downtown location in San Mateo, but the parking lot can be difficult to get in and out as there’s usually a lot of traffic (and also smallish parking spots). Avoid the drive-thru as it can take a long time. Pharmacy line can all be long during peak hours.

Very rude customer service . This will be my last time supporting any Walgreens store. Please train your employees better.

Worst pharmacy. All the other 1 star reviews are unfortunately accurate. Avoid this pharmacy. They lie about what's in stock and make you wait 45 minutes to "check" if it's stock. Then say it is and come back in 30, just to find out it's not in stock.

Went here today. Wanted to buy something costing about $40. There was a lock on the product. Go to the front where there are two cashiers. I ask if someone can unlock the product. She tells me I need to press a button. Go do that and after waiting a long time find out from the same cashier that they are the only two people in the store and can't leave the registers. Ok. Then why not say that at the beginning? Why make me press a button they aren't planning to respond to? Happened on March 2 2024 at 11:30 am in case management wants to know why I walked out without purchasing anything.

Almost 15 minutes on hold for the pharmacy. No one answers. Just keeps ringing. Poor pharmacy service

2nd time experience here at Walgreens 3rd Ave. in San Mateo. You cannot trust their automated system. It will say prescription ready but when you get there, it is not

Called pharmacy for my senior mom's medication. Was put on hold for 50 minutes, then they never picked up the call and just hung up, just like other reviews said. A Big waste of time! This pharmacy customer phone service is the worst. Customer service in person at the pharmacy not much better, unfriendly and short. Would give zero star.

I have been going here since my childhood and recently came for the updated covid vaccine and was helped by Reggie checking in and he was a very nice and straight forward employee. At most waited 5 min in line. The shot was quick and easy and overall a great experience

Tried to return an item and the lady at the cashier was like "you don't have a receipt" and I had to explain to her how digital receipts work but she kept saying "how do I even know you purchased it?". Well the digital receipt ended up working but she never apologized.

In the pharmacy there is a staff that treats those of us who only speak Spanish and do not know English very badly. I hope the administration does something.

3 months ago I picked up my baby's vitamins normally and now there is an employee who gets angry because you don't know English and treats me very badly. With that person there is never what you ask for and the truth is I hope they do something because it makes people feel very bad.
