So my card got updated to have longer expiration date. Due to this, they "weren't able to charge me" for auto pay, and added $25 auto payment denial fee. Very scammy move.

They had a promo where you get a free streaming stick. I lost the streaming stick. When I ended my service, they charged me $80 for the "free" streaming stick. Wave/astound is a scam that price gouges its customers.They said to private message them so they could help me but there is no place to private message them anywhere. I called them and the representative was not helpful at all.

Horrible called in to subscribe to get astound from Xfinity Michael from Tennessee said I would get the nfl network channel and didn’t get it. Called in next day to ask for it the people that answer the phones are useless they don’t know how to troubleshoot and they don’t know how to reset your system. Retrain everyone don’t make promises you can’t keep either!

My internet has been down for two days now. I rely on it for work and other essential tasks. I understand weather can sometimes cause downed lines, however I do hold Astound accountable to their estimated timelines. Each time I dial their automated number, it gives a new estimated time it expects the outage to be resolved. And every single time it misses and gives a new inaccurate timeline. On the first day I called, 7pm, 9pm, 11pm, next day 9am, 11am, 12:30pm, 4pm, 6pm, 7:30 pm, 12am, etc. The automated system provides no way of talking to an actual person to get a more realistic estimate. It states that a technician cannot resolve any issues until this one is cleared. This makes it impossible to plan contingencies. Poor customer service experience and always missing their own stated ETAs. I'm shocked to be saying this but I'll be looking to switch to Comcast

I lost both of my parents in 2022, my Mom was the latest loss in November. I have been trying to settle their estate and live over an hour away from their home. We kept their service on due to them having a security system which we could monitor from our home which is located in a different city. We have moved everything out and hadn't planned on going back to the home since we live so far away. I called to cancel their broadband service and was coldly told the equipment must be returned or we will be charged fully. I even spoke to a supervisor who read me a script on what a customer must do to return and if the items are damaged we will also be charged. First I'm not a customer of Astound and never will be. Secondly there was no consideration of waiving the charges even though it was my parents account and they are both now deceased. The service I received was very cold.

I tried to call the general number on the sites but couldn't get anywhere. So I went into the store to talk to someone. Lenny was extremely professional and very helpful, and got me the plan and package that worked best for me, saving me a little every month. Better performance and service than Comcast and ATT!

I got Wave internet back before they got acquired by Astound, and had been using it for 2 years. Was recommended by a friend and SO GLAD we went with it. Super fast, reliable fiber connection internet, and never experience any outages during our time using them. Not to mention matching 1gb upload speed with the 1gb download speed. My partner and I both work from home, where my job entails uploading and downloading huge 10GB files daily, and we never had bandwidth issues with our blazing fast speeds. My technician who installed the service was super friendly, and took his time to explain how I can enable direct ethernet connection into all rooms within my apartment.If your place supports fiber optics internet and you're still using ancient-tech cable ISP, you seriously need to make the switch. I can't recommend Wave Broadband enough, and am sad that our new place in Mountain View is not supported by them. Please grow your services to other peninsula + south bay areas!! :)

There was an outage just last week out of Austin, TX that left me without internet for 2 full days. Now 2 weeks later my internet is down again and I have to wait a day for someone to be able to come out and look at it. I work from home and am missing work. If you can avoid Astound I would strongly recommend it. I will be moving out of my complex when the lease is up because I am forced to use this terrible internet provider.

Terrible terrible!!! services. I have been one hr to ask for brake down of services, either they are helping other clients or they just leave hanging in the phone for over 20 min. At times the phone just disconnect. They keep saying they are trying to help and after a long wait they just do nothing. Whatever this wave or outbound is DOES NOT WORK I called so many times and the bill keeps going up. I hope that other companies will come in so I don't have to be with wave anymore and their low quality services

I can't speak for their internet service which is probably reliable and fast but....Your technicians need to be more careful, they disconnected my Comcast service and I didn't have it for about 2 days because I'm assuming they connected the wrong lines while setting up someone else's service. Wasted a whole lot of time trouble shooting with customer service and then having to wait for our technician to come fix the issue.So thank you that was super lame....
