I used to think it was so cheesy when people say, “If I could give this 0 stars, I would,” because isn’t it obvious what 1/5 stars means? But I actually think I might understand the sentiment now.Worst healthcare experience of my life. I, unfortunately, did not have the option to choose a pharmacy and was forced to work with Accredo. If you have the choice, don’t choose Accredo. My experience mirrors a lot of the other reviews. They dropped the ball on switching my insurance, keep filing claims with my insurance company that are getting rejected, ignore why they are being rejected and blindly resubmit, their various departments don’t seem to talk to each other about anything, they promise to expedite claims and I never hear from them about those, but they call or text me every 3 days that the medication is ready to be filled or scheduled and it never actually is. And if you noticed all of this is in the present tense, that’s because my issue is still not resolved and I’m going on one month without my medication, impacting my life in real, serious ways. I genuinely don’t know what else I can do at this point. If daily calls and dozens of hours of time spent on the phone by both myself AND my doctor’s office couldn’t get it done, I truly don’t know what will.

Such a useless company, they just put you on hold for multiple days and have no sympathy for patient at all.

Cigna switched to using SavOn for specialty prescriptions, but then SavOn is just some sort of middleman for Accredo, who 100% dropped the ball on switching me over. They are the poster child for everything that is wrong with American health care system. Do not use if you have a choice.

I think Accredo is my worst experience with any healthcare-related business. If anything at all goes wrong (in my case, changing insurance providers), it's extremely difficult and time-consuming to fix.- Their first mess-up was pausing the processing of my prescription to wait for a "copay assistance program" that didn't exist and I never mentioned. I received an automated call saying that everything was fine and I didn't need to do anything, which was the opposite of true. As a result, my COBRA expired without being used, costing me hundreds.- Each time I have called thereafter, the reps start by saying that my insurance is expired and I need to contact the insurance company, despite having given them the new insurance information and told them the situation.- The most recent time I called, the rep said that my prescription had zero refills remaining, despite never being used. At this point, I got my doctor's office involved and they discovered that Accredo had "used" a refill on my expired insurance plan (which rejected it).- I've received multiple automated calls saying that "we are waiting for additional information from others and there's nothing you need to do". Every time, this has indicated that they were doing the wrong thing and I needed to call and try to fix it.- The reps absolutely don't care. This would be fine, except that they're also incompetent. Their playbook is to skim your chart and either tell you to contact your insurance company or doctor's office or to wait 7 to 10 business days. They may also "expedite" your request so you'll hear back within 24-48 business hours. I've never heard back.If you can avoid Accredo aka ExpressScripts, avoid it. I have been without medication for three weeks now because of their constant "mix-ups" and am eagerly awaiting their call back within 24 - 48 business hours. It has been 42 business hours.

Yep, like virtually everyone else has said, this place is a disaster. Horrible, horrible communication (actually it’s a total lack of communication). That, in my view, is the biggest problem.I called them as a new patient weeks ago. My specialty med had been approved by my insurance company. The gal I spoke with at Accredo said the prescription was “being worked on” or words to that effect. Two to three weeks go by and nothing happens. I call Accredo today and I’m told that I’ve been “unenrolled.” Apparently the pharmacist reached out to my doctor three times via fax and got no response. They claim that they need the dosing information, diagnosis, and directions for the prescription, yet I actually got the lady I spoke with to read me the FULL PRESCRIPTION! What is up with this?!? It was totally intelligible to me. She said that it looks like the form was “cut off.” The biggest problem is that no one from Accredo bothered to call me to let me know there was a problem. They just unenrolled me. Horrible communication.I sure hope someone at Accredo starts to care about customer service and starts reading these horrible reviews. There’s a reason why 95% of the reviews are one star reviews. If this company wants to survive, it needs to start addressing these problems.

Truly awful. Fumbling the ball for my necessary prescription at every turn. They authorization was sent to me on 4/1/21 and they still haven't even scheduled my first dose to be sent out almost 2 months later. Come to find out they tried to fill a prescription for a medication I haven't been on for over 2 years and never even used them for that one anyway. Incredibly annoying to get a hold of and unwilling to take any personal responsibility for how ridiculous the process has been DUE TO THEM. Stay far away if you can.

Pharmacist answered the phone after the medication had been delayed for a 4th time. On the edge of tears, I tried to explain how desperately the medication was needed, and even used the words "the patient is going to die if this continues." Again, imagine the emotion. I was CRYING. This representative's response? "K. Patient's first and last name?"You will be charged but never receive the medication. Use a different pharmacy. Edited to add: they also love to violate HIPAA.

Felt bad for these guys having ALL one-star reviews. I didn't have a horror story with them. Had several shipments of medication well-packed, shipped fast, and the reps were helpful. It's a hassle with all the phone calls for sure, but not sure what else could be done.

I am giving them one because there is no 0 rating available.I never rated 1 before and never wrote bad thing about any pharmacy before, but this is unacceptable.I dont know how they are still in business. The lies every month, not taking reaponsibility for their mistakes. My son has missed his dosage becauseof their neglegiance.I am tired of giving them many second chances. Will switch to a better pharmacy.

If I could give zero stars that would be my accurate rating. I am a cancer patient & My insurance changed. Due to the change I was informed to contact this acreedo specialty pharmacy. Therefore, I have and they have been the worst! I am past due on taking my chemotherapy Meds due to their lack of professionalism. I’ve called everyday for the past 7 days to make sure I receive my refill on time & guess what I am dying Over here with out my Medication! I am still on hold with no clue of when my deliver will arrive. They tell you they will contact you back well, that’s a lie! Since I’ve enrolled with them I’ve never received a call back from them. They place you on hold & tell you they are trying to expedite your request and that’s also a lie!!

Negative stars if I could. Absolutely horrid. Phone tree ineffective, on hold for 45 minutes plus, once you do get someone there is little help. Won't transfer you to the person who CAN help and instead they text what you say to that person and then reply to you what they texted back - takes twice as long and totally ineffective. In addition, when you request your file to be marked with important information so that you don't have to repeat this each month, it is either not entered or ignored and you have to start the process all over again. Delays the care my child needs to keep out of the hospital. Run... run far, far away from this pharmacy!

If I could give them a negative star I would. They put you on eternal holds. They are very unprofessional, you call and if you have to call back the whole process of being put on holds starts again. You never get the same representative, so every call your starting from step one. I started calling on Thursday for a medication that I need to take every day. It’s almost a week later and they are telling me the best they can do is Tuesday. So I called my issuance company and now they are handling it with another pharmacy. What a mess

Hours long holds upon transfer to the "specialized team" that must be spoken to by phone each and every fill, 3 times out of 4 leading to them hanging up on you so you can start over. You're required to continually go through this during business hours only if you're on PST, since they're on CST. Insurance promising to cover medicine and then creating this de facto inaccessibility by requiring their pharmacy to be covered and making their pharmacy this inaccessible raises several legal concerns.
