I go there for the prices but it's always a chore to get through the checkout. This time it took 20 minutes. The checker kept leaving then someone interrupted him. Also the overhead speaker is ridiculously loud and incomprehensible.

First time at a Food Maxx, prices are good on some items and others you would be better at a local market or Walmart. Ice was reasonable for Cali, large bag 20lb was $5.24, where most stores only offered 7-9 pounds for that price, and the large bag was $7.89. Store was clean and had plenty of parking.

Never enough checkers had to wait in line longer than it took me to walk through the maze, which was about 15 minutes.
