South Shores Ace Hardware is awful. No point in wasting time to stop by. Nothing is in stock even though it shows in store in stock online. customer service is nonexistent. Lucky if they even look up from their phone to answer a question. shame on me for trying to go in and support my local store thinking I’m gonna get a different experience. It has been the same experience the past five times I’ve gone. I will no longer be going to Ace Hardware. I’d rather drive to Home Depot and not waste my time.

Nice little store and love to support local versus the big box. Unfortunately the inventory that it shows online never matches what is in store. Too many times come to get something that it says online they have multiple in stock and there is zero in stock. Staff seem to just shrug their shoulders like there is no Fix for the issue.

Very bad customer service. The young workers don’t acknowledge customers and act like they are bothered if they are asked any questions. I left this true value and went to the one on Pacific. MUCH better customer service and what you expect from this chain.

This store has the worse customer service. Workers are always on their phones or talking to each other while your trying to get some help. They act like its an inconvenience to answer a question.
My wife was calling to ask if they had a certain product available. No one answers her whole ride there. She walks in with phone still ringing and both people behind the counter are on their phones. No customers there. Very frustrating.
