Again, I wouldn't even give this place ONE stars. I could've sworn I transferred all of my mom's medication's to a different pharmacy but for some reason they keep going tO CVS. Just this past Saturday I went to go pick up her medication and they tell me that it's not ready yet and to come back in 10 minutes so I went to the car wash which took more than 10 minutes I came back and then another girl tells me oh we don't even have it at all. Can you come back on Monday and I'm like are you freaking kidding me? And now it's Tuesday today and I just went stood in line for half an hour and now they're telling me there's nothing to even pick up!! I am so sick and tired of this CVS. The people that work there shouldn't even be working there are incompetent. They don't even know what the hell they're doing. I would not recommend this CVS.

This is where I get my prescriptions. It's a hit or miss whether I have a pleasant experience or if I'm thankful I only need to come here once a month. Sometimes the employees are friendly and very polite and sometimes they are rude and act like they have better things to do.

Terrible service at the CVS Rx at Harvard in Irvine. Had to call 3 times meds and was put on hold each time for over 10 minutes before they answered and then were unhelpful.

ive been trying to get a refill for a week now on medication i am not supposed to be without. they dont care. i ask call my doctor and they call cvs. cvs refills it. next time comes around, they refuse to refill unless they get in contact with my doctor. its caused me to be without my medicine for days at a time. not only that but after calling to get a refund for medicine i had to pay out of pocket due to it being an emergency, the person on the phone wouldnt even let me speak. Extremely rude service. not a single person in here deserves to be working at a pharmacy. these people are rude disgusting people who want you out of their face, NOT the type of person you want around medication.

So im adding this review to my old one and here im showing proof of what im saying, we went in the 19th, my daughters meds are filled every thirty days. The last time they got filled was the 18th of jan. ERGO one month later she should get BOTH MEDS. Ihave called customer service line for corporate complaints three times so far and been told that the regional manager will get back to me on this "red flag" situation. And guess what? nothing. Now thats pretty appalling you know. Not even cvs as whole cares one bit that they almost killed my daughter, i mean at this point kinda makes the commercials they show of all the good customer service , i even saw one where the guys says "you saved my life". I mean its all bullshit, its false advertising. I did not get treated any way decent by cvs from the lowly employee to the store manager, i didnt get treated with any respect or care by the regional by ignoring my calls Actually ignoring CVS TELLING HIM TO CONTACT ME, you know back in the day that was an offense at work called "poor job performance" and would get you fired. The picture below shows the last medicine that we picked up from CVS and then the new one we picked up from cvs, the one says the 18th of jan the other says the 19th of feb, thats about thirty days , the time shes allowed refills. So as far as the third and picking up etc, that doesnt matter, as the pharmacy manager tried to push down my throat yesterday when she called, and then when i was telling her that wasnt the issue or anything she actually put me on hold until i hung up. So still dealing with this in a contrary shitty way that after reading CVS policy i know thats actually NOT what cvs wants of its employees. I mean what agency or store out there these days encourages its managers to shit on people and treat them deliberately badly? Like i said by the reviews this has gone on for almost a year and nothing gets done about it. So next time you se a commercial about how much cvs cares, think twice because all they care about is your insurance money, you know that extra care thing they have? if you get state aid you cannot have your meds delivered, so there we have them discriminating against the poor too, This store is not only toxic, but its only a matter of time before thier incompetency kills someone. As you can see from the photos of my daughters meds that are the issue you can actually see the dates they were filled, and just like a smoking gun, two of them say they were filled on jan 18th, and then the tow that say they were filled feb 18th and feb 19th(the day we were there) CVS didnt even offer a "bridge" of pills to see her over. Now these are medically trained people who should know thier job and the law states they have a responsibility of care for thier patients.

I have been using this CVS location for years. The customer service is typically horrible. The exception is Eddy, he's wonderful. With the other staff I feel that they need customer service training. I don't know why they ask you to do surveys when nothing improves.

Original review: Good for booze and incidentals, but the pharmacy is awful. I saw a pharmacy tech opening a bottle of liquid antibiotic with a pen point ! If that wasn't bad enough , it was right after he handled money and didn't wash his hands. I asked to speak to the pharmacy manager, a small Asian woman, who acted like I was CRAZY for saying something. Christ, my burrito down the street is served with cleaner hands in gloves ! I switched to Seaside, which I love, but I just found out CVS bought it out and is closing it. None of the people who work at Seaside have been hired as promised by CVS yet. So sad. Now I go to Peninsula Pharmacy.Update: Zero stars if I could. I have Covid feel awful and have a script for Paxlovid waiting. I live alone and I have to go get it by drive thru. They took 20 minutes for 3 cars in front of me, when I get to the window and a recording comes on that they are now closed for lunch. No sign stating that. The druggist that I had just spoken to told me that it was ready, and never mentioned it. Now I have to go back and do it all over again. This is why I will use ANY private pharmacy over CVS Caremark. Unfortunately my regular pharmacy was not listed for Paxlovid online.

I manage my mom's prescriptions and she lives near this location so I transferred her prescriptions there about 4 years ago. I've not had a problem with her prescriptions -- maybe once but it was minor- and when I've gone into the store everyone has been pleasant. I agree it's annoying that the drive thru is closed unpredictably which is maddening as it's a little scary at night time to get out of my car but I understand that Covid and staffing issues have caused problems everywhere. I've gotten Covid vaccinations here and the staff has been nice and professional so no complaints there. The security guard is usually pleasant enough - I've been greeted nicely. I did once seen him follow some teens but he didn't harass them - just made his presence known. I can't say I've experienced any bad employees or seen them treat someone poorly so I'm kinda surprised all the negative reviews. The place is a little dirty sometimes but maybe because it's starting to age. For whatever it's worth, I've had no problems and staff is nice.

On hold for pharmacy refill over 20 minutes. 9pm hits, someone answers at 9:03 and hangs up... go figure, the pharmacy closes at 9. What a lame a*** Booo, I changed to Walgreens pharmacy just for that.

My 3-star rating pertains to the effort put forth by the young trainees at this CVS location and their futile attempts to positively represent the store and its senior staff. Over the past year and one-half of shopping at this location, I've experienced noticeable tension among staff and some questionable staff interactions between staff and customers that've been so obvious and somewhat condescending that it has been uncomfortable to watch and be around. Additionally, I've found several senior (been there a long time) staff, with the exception of Vincent, to be snide and downright rude. Also, have had many interactions with several floor staff who are poor listeners and have had the need to constantly repeat previously and clearly stated requests - - during almost every time I phone in with a request about availability of a product. For the first time this morning after having to repeat a request about store products availability to three different individuals over the phone, I had a snide interaction with "the Store Manager" as she identified herself. Was too miffed to ask her name. Also, there is an older woman who works here who tends to be curt with me every time I encounter her at the registers after shopping. This is disheartening because I am an "older" person myself. Much improvement needed in basic politeness, courtesy and customer service communications at this CVS. Also, based on other online reviews I've just read, I'll not ever be using this store's pharmacy.
