I want to thank the team that works so hard and is visibly short handed. The pharmacy team is always so helpful and kind when helping the customers. They are knowledgeable and more than willing to go out of their way to help you. These ladies deserve a raise!!!!!!

The pharmacist, Alicia is so great, when I went in to pick up some other prescriptions, she remembered that I had surgery a month ago and was asking how I was feeling. She is always so kind.

The pharmacist Alicia e grantQuestion my doctor on every medication. Why did he lower some of my medication and she also called my doctor office to ask the reason why.She over reached her authority. Instead of just filling my medication she questioned everything. My doctor called me and ask me why she called the office. The medication WAS NOT even a NORCATIC.

I have used this pharmacy for years as I live in San Pedro. Maria, Alicia, Matt and David as well as the rest of the staff have always been courteous and helpful. Once when one of my husband's prescriptions was on back order from the manufacturer, they called around to local CVS until they found it in Lomita. They transferred the prescription, I went to the CVS in Lomita and picked it up with no problems. If you treat them with the respect they deserve as individuals, the favor is returned. Thanks to them all.

If I could leave less than 1 star, I would! I just had the worst experience with STEVEN F. and ALICIA G. (pharmacist). They text and called advising my husband's RX was ready since 09/26. We went to pick it up and they had it all bagged up and ready to go. We get home, open the bag and IT'S THE WRONG RX! I called and spoke with Steven F., he says he understands CVS made the mistake, but they will not refund our money because we took the RX away from the counter! But, THEY made the mistake! So, he refers me to corporate office to push us off on someone else. So, in order for us to correct THEIR MISTAKE, we are now out almost $200.00! I called CVS Corporate and they escalated my complaint. I don't know if they will do anything to fix it. But, the fact they have such incompetent, uncaring employees is very sad and discouraging. We LITERALLY put our lives in their hands with our medication, only to be given the wrong RX. In the meantime, they pocket the money and my husband has been without his proper meds for the last 2 days!

The CVS Pharmacy here is so ghetto and tacky. The manager Matt called me after I made a complaint to CVS customer service and offered me an unauthentic apology that I don't care much for. I just want the issue I called about to be addressed and corrected. Anyway when Matt explained to me at the beginning of the phone conversation that it was a misunderstanding between me and the particular individual Maria. He also informed me that Maria was unaware of any issues between her and myself. Honestly I listened very carefully to everything that he was saying and taking mental notes. I noticed he already had a preconceived bias of me before he even called me. I told him that I felt discriminated against and Matt was so quick to cut me off and get defensive. He said yeah he has seen her interact with customers and that she is not racist. I find it ignorant on his part as a manager that he didn't even let me finish what I wanted to say and that he never gathered more information and clarified what type of discrimination I am referring to. Interesting that he had that reaction because I have a strange feeling that I am not the first person to mention that. And what is even more interesting is when Matt mentioned she is CVS Pharmacy's only full time pharmacy technician and she remembers our brief interaction? That is a pharmacy in the middle of a target store with a lot of foot traffic and two staff members that is busy. She needs to stop lying because she knows she did something wrong that's why she lied. And it seems as though when I was talking to Matt he had no clue of how to handle the situation and he was trying to save face. I had to d*** most of what I was saying down just for him to understand what I am saying to which I'm glad that I did. If I had not done that I would never have known what kind of ghetto liar Maria really is. So when I said that Maria was acting like a female dog that day he would have left out that important bit of information that is not being disclosed to me as a concerned customer. He just told me that Maria said that I said "F**k You" to her face. Ok so not only does Maria lack any proper home training but she is a lying nasty ghetto dog. She completely lied and told Matt that I said that. I NEVER said that to her nor cussed at her. Knowing this now I probably should have just cussed her out from the get go. So when Matt told me that he was telling me not to cuss at staff to which I told him that I never said anything like that to her. And what did NOT make any sense was how Matt said that Maria was unaware that an issue existed between us. Ok... so if someone says F**k You to someone that means what? That there is not a problem? Matt and Maria's story of what supposedly happened needs to be straightened out because that does not make any sense. I told him it's either there was a problem or there wasn't. He then profusely started apologizing at the end of our phone conversation. I ended the phone conversation even more upset with this entire pharmacy. Quite frankly I am very insulted that Matt thinks I would not have caught on and figured it out. Honestly Matt and Maria strikes me as people that think other people are stupid when in reality their the stupid ones. After I called CVS customer service again I updated them of what happened and told them that I do not want to be contacted by that pharmacy. And what happens the supervisor from that CVS Pharmacy contacts me the other day wanting to speak to me. Now I don't think this pharmacy understands that the patient pharmacist relationship between us is done. That pharmacy is full of mediocre staff that have no idea how to be professional and lie about customers. For all we know they probably misuse our insurance information and lying about patients. With the nonchalant behavior displayed by this pharmacy it would not surprise me. I am definitely going to be contacting the General Pharmaceutical Council on this pharmacy.

Tried this location near my office AWFUL! Prescription line very long around 5 people in front of me and not one got their prescription including me. Everyone's was not ready, not there, problem, etc. Mine showed filled 11/19 on the online app at this location but it was not there. I spoke to lady at drop off who said I absolutely must have I already picked it up at another pharmacy. I reiterated 3 times I didn't, hence why I'm here. I asked that she look up when I picked it up last and she said 10/11 yes, a month ago and now I'm picking up this month. She INSISTED I picked it up. Sooooo barking completely erroneous info is insulting, rude, unhelpful in rectifying the issue, and wrong. Went to PCH in Hermosa and they immediately filled no problem. CVS pharmacy service has declined to much l' ll be trying Rite Aid or Walgreens where they hopefully know what they are doing and care about their customers.

This pharmacy is completely set up to make profits and bring in business for Target by offering cheap deals on medications. However don't be fooled by their deceptive practices. They recently started dispensing the generic version of my medications to me. I have always received the brand name as my insurance pays for it and I also can afford it. When I realized this was happening I called them out on it and they provided a defense of lies and mistruths. My hard copy prescriptions say the Name Brand of the drug and I was told from now on I have to request the name brands if I want them. Very disappointed in the whole experience. Buyer beware. Stay on top of your health care!
