Loved everything about this place. It has a great selection at affordable prices. We were able to snatch a Led Zeppelin album for less than $30, the same we saw somewhere else at $70. The gentleman who worked there was very kind and helpful. Would definitely return.

One of the coolest vintage shops I’ve ever been to and reasonable prices for great books. I was surprised they had DVDs and Blu Ray but decent selection. The best part are all the vintage photos here. Check this place out if you love golden age Hollywood. That’s the best years

Have gone to this place twice and it never gets old. The selection is wide and talking to the Owner Chuck on anything from film masters to cds is a great time in itself! There's tons of hidden gems here and I for one can say I've happily left with some goodies. The $5 surprise bags at the door are a hit of my girlfriend as well easy way to get into reading for super cheap. If you want anything from vintage books, vynil, movies and collectibles, this is the place!

Getting there: The store is easy to find. From the center of town, just head south on Pacific, right onto 6th, and you'll find the store on your right. There is only street parking available in that area, but I can't imagine that area gets super crowded. Experience: I wish I could give this business 6-stars! I stumbled upon The Grand Emporium while waiting to meet up with my dad and I'm so glad I did! This place is a hidden gem filled with an incredible collection of old DVDs, CDs, records, books, postcards, and more...all in pristine condition. I was able to snag the 3rd HP book, two books for my niece and nephew's book collection I've been curating, and the Bring it On Collector's Edition DVD for $22 total! The owner was super friendly and welcoming, and I loved hearing about how the items in the store were mostly his personal collection combined with treasures found at yard sales, auctions, and donations that he's visited throughout the years. It was clear that he's passionate about his shop and takes pride in curating such a unique selection. Not only was the collection impressive, but the owner also gave me a discount on my items that were under $30 to begin with. For anyone in the San Pedro area, The Grand Emporium is a must-visit spot.

This place is beautiful, the vinyl selection is really good, it's a pleasure to shop here. Moreover, the owner is super sweet, he gaves my daughter Disney DVDs and music CD for Christmas , she was over the moon. . It was an amazing experience, I totally recommend it and we will go again.

Went in this morning and similarly to the previous times I'm greeted by the friendliest of 'shop keepers' I've ever encountered. A great place to relax and browse. I picked up a fantastic batch of records today but there's something of interest for everyone here - my wife, kids and I have all bought records, books, and collectibles here in the past and the owner always welcomes every browser warmly.

Chuck was amazing. This place was way beyond all my expectations but Chuck was on top of everything. My BF spent a really good chatting time with Chuck and we both found something cool here. Many many thanks to Chuck, I wish I found it earlier as a neighbor. We will for sure visit again any near time that's possible for us. God bless good man like Chuck.
