This place is a joke. They never told me I needed to schedule an appointment to simply drop something off. In all the time I was there getting tests nobody thought to tell me? But sure as heck they give you a slip of paper and ask you to give them a good review on the survey!
Then I get here and use the system to check in and the system says, “you are checked in. Here is your number. Someone will call you shortly.” Then you sit here for 30+ minutes for someone to finally come out only to be told, “no, that’s not how it works. That doesn’t mean you are checked in.
It’s not like most people are here on their best day. It could be good to remember you’re in the medical field and the goal is to take care of people.
And maybe be less concerned with begging for a positive survey and focus rather on providing the service that deserves a good review.

They need training to know how to treat children or more experienced people to draw blood from children. The young lady who tried to draw my son's blood just put the tourniquet on and left for over a minute, leaving my son with the tourniquet on his arm. I'll take it off. She got angry and told me not to take it off again.

If you are doing a walk-in, do it early morning or after 1:00.
You will not get any help from this company on the phone or at the office with no front desk. Try using the underground parking lot. And they leave at 11:40 to 1:00 for lunch even though it's supposed to be 12 to 1.
The reason for all the stars is Wendy Munoz, she is an exemplary employee. It is indeed her merit to consider a managerial position somewhere else. I witnessed her successfully resolve a conflict with a client, as if she were a supervisor. She was able to draw more than 6 tubes of blood from me in less than 3 minutes without any bruising. Furthermore, she courteously terminated her lunch break early due to my prolonged wait in the waiting room. This was the first time I had walked out of Quest without appearing to be an addict from the constant scrutiny of my arms and any bruises whatsoever. I have been conducting blood tests every 3 months for many years.
Wendy Munoz, I ensured to obtain her information as she is exceptionally talented. She is a true gem.

I had an appointment at 10am and fasting for blood work. The place does not have a front desk and the technician calls people in after you sign in electronically. I had to use the bathroom and no one was available to help. When it was my turn I said hello and the heavy set curly hair African American lady did not respond. She told me to go to room #3 and then said that my name was misspelled so she did not have an order in the system. She told me to get the paperwork I had at home and to come back as walk in basis. I came back and signed up again as a walk in along with three other people. She stormed into the room multiple times stating that she was too busy to take walk ins and that lunch was from 12 to 1pm. At 11:40 am, she was done with all appointments and she never came back until 12 pm when she ask us to leave the office. Three of us fasting waited for an hour. After lunch she saw us come in along with other people who were also walk ins or had appointments. She took everyone before us and then told us that we had to sign in again. This was my THIRD time signing in at 1:30! I helped two people sign in, since they did not know English or had difficulty with the system. I gave my spot to two people who were behind me, one male who just came out of the hospital with a kidney infection. I was called in to help him as a translator. About 2:15 she finally drew my blood and to be fair, she was very good. She was the only person in the office and we could not read her name tag because she purposely flipped it. She is by far one of the most unprofessional and unpleasant healthcare provider I have ever encountered. I am 104lbs and felt very dizzy and exhausted after dealing with this person for four hours and fifteen minutes which I will never get back. This appointment should have not taken more than ten minutes. Do not go to this facility.

I've been there several years ago and my experience was wonderful. Now searching for a lab to do some tests I was looking at the reviews and at first was discouraged by the amount of negative reviews but after more googling figured out that apparently, it is normal for a lab. I guess people don't leave good reviews for a lab that often. I went to Quest Diagnostic in San Pedro one more time and everything was excellent. I made an appointment before coming in. The place is relatively busy so I can see how walk-ins can take more time. I went through a quick self check-in process (don't forget your ID, you'll need it) and was invited inside right at my appointment time. The nurse was superb, very friendly and very professional. I barely felt needle and after the blood draw discarded the bandage in about 20 min. The only reminder of the blood draw was a tiny red dot on my arm. Great service once again. Thank you, Quest Diagnostics!

I have never been so offended by a company before in my life! I don't like dealing with robots. On the phone, or in the foyer, or at the facility. I find this extremely offensive. When I called, the computer voice response system is completely belligerent and you can't get a real person on the phone. Each time I selected the option for speaking to someone at the facility I was routed straight to voicemail. When I got to the facility, I found myself in an enclosed room with a TV and a computer station. There was no way to talk to anybody other than using the computer. The TV was broadcasting advertisements for pharmaceutical companies over and over again. I unplugged it! I will never use quest diagnostics again! I thought LabCorp was bad. You guys make them seem like Disneyland!

Love using Quest Diagnostics Patient Service Center, not only is it close to both my home and my work, they have early appointments available to accommodate my work hours, and I love the new office space. Making an appointment is so easy, and the waiting time was no more than 5 minutes.

Nico was very welcoming and efficient. I had a stroke 2 years ago, and have mobility challenges. She went through the registration process fairly quickly. She then managed to do an excellent stick. No sting at all. She managed to get the samples she needed and then took the time to make sure I was no longer bleeding. I am on blood thinners and needed to provide a urine sample as well. She is great and I hope to have her as my phlebotomist next time.
