About Ann & Steven Hinchliffe San Pedro & Peninsula YMCA
The Ann & Steven Hinchliffe San Pedro & Peninsula YMCA is a highly regarded fitness and community center that has been serving the local area for many years. Customers consistently praise the helpful and friendly staff, who are described as "kind," "warm," and "polite." The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, with a great selection of equipment and group classes. One of the standout features is the child activity center, where the staff, particularly Ms. Irma, are praised for their excellent care and attention to the little ones while parents work out. The gym also offers convenient amenities like hair dryers and a mobile app for reserving spots. Customers appreciate the YMCA's commitment to the community, with the fees helping to support local causes. While a few areas for improvement were noted, such as the need for warmer water in the pool and some repairs in the women's shower room, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive. Customers describe the YMCA as a "great place" and a "gym for 9 years now," with many enjoying the variety of group classes and personal training options.
