“We had a fantastic first preschool experience at Oceanview. Our daughter started here soon after turning 3yrs old and went part-time for 1.5yrs. We had a great first impression after taking a tour with the director, Ms. Rosana. We loved both the teachers, Ms. Kami and Ms. Cece. I felt they let our daughter play and learn with the perfect mix of independence and guidance. She learned so much! Most of all, I always felt she was cared for and loved by all the staff, which meant so much to me. Highly recommend!”

“This school is amazing. The director, Mrs. Kim, is so loving and nurturing to the kids. She goes above and beyond to make sure that her students are enjoying their time at school. Both of my daughters have attended this school, and I am so happy for that. My older daughter still wants to go up every day when we pick up my youngest to say hi to Mrs. Kim. The teachers are attentive and playful, the kids do projects and assignments that stimulate their bright minds. When I pick up my youngest daughter from school, she’s skipping and smiling. Ms Justine is so sweet, Ms. Karishma too - we saw her out in the wild and she greeted my daughter so warmly, it was obvious that she loves the kids. Mr Malik always gives my daughter a high 5 on her way out. This place is everything you want for your kids. I thank God for Mrs Kim and Merry Go Round every day. If you’re looking for a school that feels like a family this is the place to send your child.”

“I've waited a few years to write a review because I didn't want to review too early and not have a thorough review. The biggest thing I've noticed is there's very little turnover rate. The same teachers have been working here for years. My daughter started here in the toddler room when we first moved to San Pedro in 2019. She moved from toddler to preschool to pre-k. The pre-k program is absolutely perfect. Your child will probably be reading before Kindergarten if you send them consistently. My daughter just started Kindergarten this year and she's one of the top students in her class and consistently gets complimented by her teacher on how bright she is. I had twin babies in 2021 and they started going to the infant room. I can't say enough great things about the infant room. The teachers and director truly care about my babies and I have zero mom guilt about bringing them.”

“Excellent experience. 1st-8th, 2 kids, now in high school. Both honor roll/principal’s honor roll. Both responsible. Both good Catholics. Planning to enroll our grandson as soon as he is ready.”

“Amazing and affordable preschool. We've sent our child here for almost a year, and we could not be more pleased with the structure and care. The teachers are very passionate about the students and fully attentive to their personalities and needs. There is a strong variety of activities within a daily routine, lots of consistency with the care, and ongoing communication between the teachers and children. Our son comes home with daily "academic" work, art pieces, potty training and other social-emotional lessons, and lots of fun songs! This daycare was almost half the cost of what we paid while living in Long Beach, but we don't feel like we've lost any quality of care with our toddler. I would definitely pay more to support these teachers and keep their festive activities, play spaces, and art supplies going.”
