“I spent 6 years of my life at that school, from Kindergarten - 5th grade, and those were the best 6 years ever. The teachers are amazing, they prepare the children for so much in their later years. The staff as well are very kind towards adults and definitely towards the kids. These teachers can be trusted with your child's education.”

“Amazing and affordable preschool. We've sent our child here for almost a year, and we could not be more pleased with the structure and care. The teachers are very passionate about the students and fully attentive to their personalities and needs. There is a strong variety of activities within a daily routine, lots of consistency with the care, and ongoing communication between the teachers and children. Our son comes home with daily "academic" work, art pieces, potty training and other social-emotional lessons, and lots of fun songs! This daycare was almost half the cost of what we paid while living in Long Beach, but we don't feel like we've lost any quality of care with our toddler. I would definitely pay more to support these teachers and keep their festive activities, play spaces, and art supplies going.”

“Beautiful church with a classic Catholic cathedral interior. Amazing artwork, like the 35 foot Mosaic of the Virgin Mary on the North side of the building, and a golden statue of Jesus guiding the ships safely from the 100+ foot tall steeple.The people here are welcoming too, with frequent weddings, Sunday services, and a grade school.”

“My granddaughter started going to Mary Go Round over a year ago,. I fell in love with the staff which treats each child as if they were their own child. They get warm meals they get education they get play time but most of all they get a lot of love.. I do volunteer from time to time at the school and I just love the enthusiasm that the kids have. It's funny because my two nieces went to the same school over 36 years ago. “I've waited a few years to write a review because I didn't want to review too early and not have a thorough review. The biggest thing I've noticed is there's very little turnover rate. The same teachers have been working here for years. My daughter started here in the toddler room when we first moved to San Pedro in 2019. She moved from toddler to preschool to pre-k. The pre-k program is absolutely perfect. Your child will probably be reading before Kindergarten if you send them consistently. My daughter just started Kindergarten this year and she's one of the top students in her class and consistently gets complimented by her teacher on how bright she is. I had twin babies in 2021 and they started going to the infant room. I can't say enough great things about the infant room. The teachers and director truly care about my babies and I have zero mom guilt about bringing them.”
“We decided to enroll our daughter for her first Pre-K experience at Ocean View Preschool. The teachers here really do care about each child, and it shows. The quality of education is very hands on, play based and super educational. Our daughter has improved significantly in her vocabulary, and on her social skills with other kiddos. We are sad to leave Ocean View Preschool as we are moving out state. Nevertheless, our family is super thankful to the teachers and staff for being part of our daughter's first learning experience.
