Very clean store, the staff are nice. They are helpful and will guide you to what you are looking for. When I couldn't find tomato paste, he walked me to where it was. The prices are good and they have a lot of products. When it get busy they are quick to open another register.

Charged for bags I didn’t use. Some items didn’t make it in the bag either. They ran out of fruit bags when i started shopping there and I asked for some. “Yeah, we’re out.” Isn’t the answer I’m looking for. They were out for a week. Have you seen the price of fruit? Point of Sale system is screwy. Check out rarely goes smoothly. No one seems friendly even when I start positive. (Not just this location). I avoid SF but it’s now close by. Same price on most items as Vons so I’m going there now. Ugh.

The morbidly obese cashier who failed to acknowledge me at checkout displayed some of the worst employee performance I've ever seen. He was entirely out of breath and would not make eye contact or say hello to me. Then to make matters worse an elderly woman was having difficulties with the motorized shopping cart. Rather than assist her, he barked it was plugged in. She didn't understand. I never found out if she got the help she needed as I wanted to get as far away from this place as I could. So many better places to shop and spend your money in town.

I understand as you work, you need to multitask, correct? In this case, I was at this Smart & Final, The cashier older lady (Alicia) Was very slow,very rude Did not acknowledge me Whatsoever! She was too busy gossiping to the lady in front of me About her coworkers and management About how poorly the store is! As a customer, I do not want to be hearing gossip I mean, at least if you’re going to gossip multitask, she stopped what she was doing just to chat for like 10 minutes I would say and I was late for My Job! She’s done this before. She is very slow customer service, and does not multitask Coorperate , can you please call me
