This is what Krogers gives you. ZERO service. Here on 8/15 and my cashier is a kid with his hat on backwards, playing with with his goddamn hair while he waits for a price check, then DISAPPEARS to do whatever while I'm waiting. Patrick, who I respect and is a good people person, melts into the background. STILL waiting. Guy comes back, told him I'd fire him right now for hat backwards, playing with his hair, doing NOTHING. F*** THIS PLACE

I guess good help is difficult to come by these days. 2 guys were stocking shelves talking loud about how parents should beat their kids, it was all immature diarrhea of the mouth. Then I go to check out where Henry is so rude. He was rude to a lady that left her wallet in her car, I offered to pay for her groceries but she was just embarrassed. All along Henry just stands there like a store dummy. Apologies to all the store dummies that have more personality than Henry. Then next day at Von's my checker was Hugo. He said hello, was kind and polite, what a difference. Von's is great only for the fact it's all we have.

my review today is just for the customer service at the service deli. Casey was helping me. Casey is fantastic. I asked if there was any Primo peppered turkey, Casey started looking through while saying, "Sorry I don't think so". Casey offered cajun turkey, I replied, "No thanks, maybe next time" i started to walk away, Casey said, " We have this blah blah (Casey said the correct brand name but I have already forgotten it) kind that's peppered, would you like to try it?" "yes, please! i'll take half pound!" simple everyday interaction with someone in retail right? well in my experience, over the last 10 years customer service is awful. younger workers especially lack CS skills, but plenty of not so young lack skills as well! Casey keep up the great service, you single handedly restored my faith in younger folks (for today and tomorrow at least) and for that I'm grateful!

The store is OK. Some items are out of stock, but sort of expected considering the things going on in the world. My biggest gripe is how they handle their more expensive alcohol. You have to go up to the front and request someone unlock the booze. Then they take it up front. Apparently they can't trust you with the bottle. Then unless you ask again for the alcohol during checkout, it gets left behind. About half the time I get home without the alcohol after making an effort to purchase the product. There has to be a better way!

I have many grocery options nearby, but I have been shopping at this Vons location for many years because the staff here seem like members of the family. I hope the Management and further up the Vons ladder show much as much appreciation for the team at San Pedro location on 25th St. as I try to do because they truly deserve it. They are more essential than ever and have worked especially hard to ease the community into all these changes. They've been so flexible and have all had great attitudes despite all the changes. They represent the spirit of this town, they don't back down from hard work and they've shown such loyalty. I'm praying they receive the same loyalty back. Thanks especially to Luna for always saying hi and remembering me. I can't think of a time I shopped and did not end up at her register, and it's those familiar faces that keep me coming back. Appreciate your people. They are truly dream employees and should be told often. Thank you goes a long way.

Just left the store after a 10-minute max shopping trip where I saw 5 adult shoppers who were not wearing masks inside the store--despite the indoor masks mandate!

Always on point has a lot to offer and can get what I need without any hassle. They don't have the largest selection but it is quite good and even though it's pricey at times it can be okay if you are a smart shopper.

In general I like the store experience, but they put my stuff in a bag when I didn't ask and then I saw display without a surcharge - silly me I thought it was free- but as I entered card info the cashier slipped the charge in on me. It's only $.10 but please ask me if I want to buy a bag vs making me look like a cheapskate to ask somebody to take stuff out of bag and deduct $.10. Cripes!!!!!!

DISCRIMINATION AND INTIMIDATION AT YOUR STORE LOCATED AT STORE #2162. 1440 W 25th St, San Pedro, CA 90732. Compliant #45107349 I and my 2 children are African Americans and we suffered from ethnic and racial discrimination at the hands of your 2 employees at your store on 10/02/2021. I purchases a lot of groceries worth about 300 hundred dollars and as they were falling off the cashier's tray.. and it was obvious that no one was assisting the cashier to bag any of our items purchased. At a point, I asked the cashier why our items were not a bag, and she stated that my kids could help with the bagging.. Observing other cashiers and customers .. it became obvious that other customers that were white.. were promptly been assisted with bagging and other related customer support. Responding to the cashier's request that my children could help, I requested to speak with the manager of the store. The manager arrived further stated when she arrived that if my children wants to bag the items.. it is up to them. She was hostile and stated that I was harassing her and then threatened to call the police. I responded that I have done nothing wrong, except requested why the cashiers wants me and my children to bag our groceries, and other customers were giving prompt assistance including bagging of their groceries. This ugly incident was very discriminatory and has caused me and my children emotional and other distress and suffering .. This incident was fully recorded on a phone video camera.

Came today around 11 am to do an Instacart order. It was pretty easy and very little items so I headed to the express checkout lane. My cashier was Henry and boy does he need to learn some manners. Very poor customer service and doesn't know how to talk to people. As he finished scanning my items he told me to put in a phone number and I said I didn't have one. Usually grocery stores just proceed with the checkout process but he kept telling me to put one in and I said no I don't have one with the store. He then looked at my boyfriend and raised his voice for us to put in a number. He said "put in a number any number I don't care. Do you want your discount or not??" We both looked at him like wtf and said it was an Instacart order. He told us to put in the number they use for Instacart orders so I put it what he told me. Really don't appreciate his tone.

It's sad you are made feel like s*** for wanting to buy a bag even though Rosita has a bag shortage. Who's problem is that? Now that you're a Supervisor I say you order more so customers could buy them & not made feel like crap for not being charged. Remember you've got customers that don't need an argument over a bag. We both won't lose sleep but tomorrow order bags!

Jakey from the Bakey department was tender as Patrick Swayze was with pottery. He massages the cookie dough like Bill Cosby, a master at his craft he blesses every cookie with grace almost as if he were high on Marijuana. On top of baking the most wonderful bread, he will offer complete and sound gym advice that would make Ronnie Coleman envy at his eternal glory. Rumors will spread of this man like my butt cheeks near Chris Hemsworth. 10/10 would recommend

Having shopped at Vons in another area of Los Angeles that isn't near PV we can say that we almost died of sticker shock (high prices) when we went into this Vons. Just about every item we saw was 50 cents to $1.00 higher than our old Vons. We suppose that if you shop deals only, you might come out OK but sometimes we don't want the WORK of having to sign up for special deals via the Von's JUST FOR YOU gambit online. We just want everyone to get the lowest price without games, without having to search the store for 5 fers or 10fers, without having to run our phone number through, without couponing. Yes this store has some specialty items - was that $12 for a jar of jelly?

We have been shopping here for years. The cashiers and staff are always so friendly. Whoever makes the pasta salads and coleslaw in the deli is a genius! We have never had a bad experience here. Love this vons!!! The only negative experience I can share is when they changed the filling of their cream puff from Real cream to crappy cool whip.
