“I just had my family passports renewed and I could not ask for a nicer experience. They made copies of documents I should have brought, with no fuss. We watched them greet a dozen customers by name. These guys give the Post Office a great name!”

“I went in to this post office today needing help sending a package to a loved one overseas. Demetria did a wonderful job explaing the proccess of how long it would take to get there as well as how to track it. She made the experience really easy for me and I hope to have her help me again. More people with her work ethic and level of care should be hired. Overall a wonderful experience and stellar customer service. Thanks again Demetria.”

“This is a cute contract post office & gift shop. I can't imagine saying, "a cute post office." But, here we are. The shop is crisp and beautiful; filled with high-end Marin souvenirs I was walking past when I spotted the Mariage Frères tea. I was excited to try a new variety and asked the owner for a recommendation. He gave me some options and let me take them outside to smell them. They were all lovely and I went home with a new canister. If you're in search of Marin swag, this is a good place to look.”

“This is a real post office! Tall guy behind the counter was super nice (sorry bro I didn't catch your name). Also fun stuff in there to look at. Jazz music in the background and scented candles are definitely unique to this post office. Cute place.”

“Carrie is incredible! Totally competent and efficient. She was very personable too which helps when you have too many packages and three kids wiggling all over the place. Thank you, Carrie, for making a daunting task pleasurable!”

“I’ve had great luck at this spot. Excellent customer service etc. I regularly drop off packages here without a hitch. Gary is especially concerned with doing things correctly, an asset to the postal service.”

“Like most post offices, they're understaffed, but if you go in the off times it's usually quick. Very conveniently located and the staff couldn't be nicer and more personable.”

“when I forget to purchase stamps, forget to pick up small shipping packages or forget to purchase packing tape I can always stop into mill valley post office and get these items there without the p.o. workers going postal on me at all.”

“I ship things almost daily for my small business and I have to say -- this is the best, most efficient post office around. And I have frequented many Bay Area locations over the years.”

“It’s a great-looking post office, clearly meant for sending and receiving packages to and from Italy exclusively. In that spirit, it serves as a kind of Italian embassy — offering goodwill through the occasional spaghetti and meatball handout. It’s strewn with Godfather posters and, of course, accepts cannoli as payment.

When Silvio passed away, they flew the Italian flag at half-staff.”

“Postmaster Judy Bartlett went out of her way to correct an error made by San Anselmo post office, and Nicoletta is always very helpful whenever I go into the Fairfax office. Huge improvement to prior experiences with some previous employees, and antithesis of the San Anselmo office, which is terribly hostile and continually incompetent.”

“I don't use use the post office much, but when I have a choice, I use the Terra Linda Station.

Not only is this the closest post office to me, but (most of the time) the lines are short, and the employees are friendly and helpful.”

“Absolutely helpful, always pleasant I adore this little post office location in Point Richmond. I find myself here more often than not, and I never have an issue with getting in and getting out in a timely manner. I'm unsure what some of the other reviewers I've read about this location being slow moving, I have not had that experience any time I am here. This post office team is the best!”

“I can’t say enough great things about my local post office and, especially, my postman, Yadau Oja. I’ve lived in Marin for years, and he’s hands down the best postman I’ve ever had. He’s reliable, friendly, and goes above and beyond every single day.

Yadau has been a huge part of my business’s growth from the very beginning. He always shows up on time, picks up every package without fail, and never hesitates to offer a kind word or encouragement. He’s seen my business grow from the ground up, and he genuinely celebrates each milestone with me.

Having someone like Yadau on your route isn’t just a convenience—it’s an asset. His dedication and positivity make such a difference, and I’m incredibly grateful for his service.

Thank you, Yadau, and thank you to my local post office for being such an important part of my journey!”

“This post office is great and I always look forward to going there. It's full of character and the manager goes above and beyond to help and understand your situation.”

“The staff here has always been extremely friendly. I'm here once or twice a week, and they are very helpful with whatever is needed. I've seen a couple instances where people come in mad or frustrated about some paperwork or process, and the staff does a great job of helping them get the information they need (passport renewals, etc). The staff here executes on their job, and will often go above and beyond what's needed. Sometimes there's a bit of a line, but they always move through it quickly and precisely. Glad to be here.”

“A lot of reviews say bad service but I had good fast service. Nice Asian man working the desk.

I was initially annoyed because the doors were locked but I had to walk around to the entrance next to Gambino’s, the lunch place that had some outdoor tables.

They have a lot of stamps here which i like! I usually go to other post offices in SF for stamps but had never been given such a selection. I picked SpongeBob stamps and also Ruth bader Ginsberg!”

“Passport walk-in hours are from 9:30 to 10am. I arrived at 8:30 am, was asked to put my name on a list and come back at 9:25. I had all of my required documents so Kim was able to help me quickly and efficiently at 9:30. She even checked to make sure I was good to go when I checked in at 8:30.

There is a sign posted outside that says they only take 2 passport walk-ins a day, which is understandably frustrating if you arrive at 9:30 unaware of this policy.”

“Not sure why this place has bad reviews. As far as US Post Office's go -- this is one of the best. I have a small business and I drop packages here at least three times a week and they are always beyond friendly. I'm a big fan.”
